See, a Singapore flag made of M&Ms

M&M’S broke a Singapore record over the weekend when it formed a 2.7m by 1.8m tall flag with red and white chocolate candies.

It took seven days to complete at an event called “Go Red This National Day with M&M’S®”, held at Plaza Singapura from July 28 to August 3.

You can go see it at SAFRA Mount Faber at their Nation’s 49@MF event, which is open to the public on August 9

I am sorry to have missed the moment when last few chocolate candies were put into place onstage at 6pm on Sunday, August 3. A total of 17,441 candies were used on the flag, most of which are limited edition white lentils exclusively available now at Candylicious. Don’t be misled – it’s just coated in white and the inside is still the usual M&M’s milk chocolate.

Looking at this flag makes me hungry for some M&M’S… Wondering if these chocolate lentils have nuts in them? 😛
