After my cooking lesson at Quarter Twenty One Cookery School, we headed to the iconic Sydney Opera House for a guided tour.
This would be my third time visiting the Sydney Opera House. I did not take as much photos this time round. To find out more about the Sydney Opera House and see more photos, please check out this blog post from my previous visit.
For dinner, we headed to the Cruise Restaurant at The Rocks. Located on the second level and with a beautiful sea-facing view of the Sydney Opera House, Cruise Restaurant & Cocktail Lounge is a great place to chill out and have a nice meal or a couple of drinks.
The food portions were pretty huge for me.
We were served with TWO mains and a dessert EACH, with other sides to share round the table. I had a squid and a steak for my two mains – really filling!

After dinner, we took a leisurely stroll by the sea, enjoying the view and the lighting from Vivid Sydney – an annual event to colour Sydney with creativity and inspiration, transforming the city into a spectacular canvas of light, music and ideas.
Highlights include the hugely popular immersive light installations and projections; performances from local and international musicians at Vivid LIVE at Sydney Opera House and the Vivid Ideas Exchange featuring public talks and debates from leading global creative thinkers.
I love the huge 3D and video mapping onto the Sydney Opera House:
Good food and great view rounded up our first day in Sydney with Scoot. 🙂
