I was invited to be a guest panelist at a forum next Tues (21 Jun) – “Discourse on Digital Journalism”, organised by SAE Institute, Singapore and the National Trades Union Congress’ (NTUC) e2i (Employment and Employability Institute).
I would mostly be speaking about my experience as a blogger and also as someone who works in an online newsroom.

Developing journalists to maximise their creative potential online
(Receives up to 50% subsidies for a 6-week “Certificate in Digital Journalism course”)
SAE Institute, Singapore, and the National Trades Union Congress’ (NTUC) e2i (Employment and Employability Institute) announce the introduction of up to 50% course fee funding toward SAE Institute’s 6-week Certificate in Digital Journalism course. This funding is available to Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents only. This certificate course is developed to provide a more practical and systematic approach for writers to communicate clear and effective ideas to its target audience. The modules are designed to impart professional skills to journalism enthusiasts, and to help experienced professional journalists and bloggers to take their work to the next level of success. Aspiring digital journalists or practitioners from the print media are also welcome to pursue this training.
To inaugurate this collaboration, SAE Institute and e2i are hosting a one-hour panel discussion titled “Discourse on Digital Journalism.” The panel discussion is open to the public and will be held on 21 June 2011 with the following panellists of bloggers:
