Pardon my lack of updates the past week as we are experiencing an unusually heavy workload at omy.sg lately. Hopefully, things should resume normalcy after July.

Anyway, I got someone interesting to share with everyone.

I was invited to be a guest panelist at a forum next Tues (21 Jun) – “Discourse on Digital Journalism”, organised by SAE Institute, Singapore and the National Trades Union Congress’ (NTUC) e2i (Employment and Employability Institute).

I would mostly be speaking about my experience as a blogger and also as someone who works in an online newsroom.

The forum is free. If you are interested to attend, you can REGISTER ONLINE via the e2i website. 🙂

More details on the forum are available below via SAE and e2i’s joint press release:

The modules are designed to impart professional skills to journalism enthusiasts, and to help experienced professional journalists and bloggers to take their work to the next level of success. Aspiring digital journalists or practitioners from the print media are also welcome to pursue this training.

To inaugurate this collaboration, SAE Institute and e2i are hosting a one-hour panel discussion titled “Discourse on Digital Journalism.” The panel discussion is open to the public and will be held on 21 June 2011 with the following panellists of bloggers:
