Allan Wu (吴振天) criticised Mediacorp and offered to help them

Allan Wu offering constructive criticism to Mediacorp

Via ejia1234 on youtube, in a video named “Yahoo! Singapore catches up with Allan Wu”. Here’s a particularly quote worthy sentence from Allan Wu (吴振天) in the interview: “I would love to help them out (referring to Mediacorp), but we’ve got to deal with egos, politics, bureaucracy and also complacency…”

I wonder if this interview is too candid for Allan Wu’s own good. What do you think?

  • I suppose the outcome of this will depend on how thin-skinned MediaCorp is, as well as how valuable Allan truly is in their eyes. Sometimes, celebrities do intentionally seek to be controversial and sensational, just to attract media attention, eg Bai Ling, Lady Gaga and Britney Spears.
