MM Lee turns 84 today

Singapore’s first Prime Minister, and current Minister Mentor, Lee Kuan Yew, 李光耀, was born on September 16, in 1923. Today marks his 84th birthday. He is older than then nation he created in 1965 by exactly twice in age this year, as Singapore turns 42.
