Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre’s (SCCC) biennial Mandopop concert, SING浪 2026, drew nearly 5,800 fans to the Singapore Indoor Stadium on 31 October for a night celebrating Mandarin pop, regional music talents and contemporary expressions of Chinese culture.

Guest-of-Honour David Neo, Minister for Culture, Community and Youth and Second Minister for Education, joined the audience for an evening that combined Mandopop performances with electronic dance beats and modern interpretations of traditional Chinese elements.

For the first time, SING浪 featured a 360-degree stage positioned at the centre of the venue. The arrangement created a more immersive concert experience, allowing audiences to enjoy the performances from every angle and bringing them closer to the artistes.
The concert featured regional performers OSN and Ivy Lee, alongside Singapore singer-songwriter Boon Hui Lu, who received the Young Local Songwriter of the Year award at the COMPASS Awards 2026. They were joined by a line-up of local music talents, including Tosh Zhang, Marcus Lee, Zadon, OUTCASTS, DJ INQUISITIVE, TINC, Jeff Ng and Paige Gan.

One of the highlights was the debut of four original song compositions by Jeff Ng, Marcus Lee, Paige Gan and local music producer Danial Elias Teo. The programme also spotlighted achievements by Chinese Singaporeans, including a local guitarist who played and recorded the guitar parts used in the background music for the viral Chongqing motorcycle trend, as well as the Singapore Traditional Wushu Elite Team.
Music was accompanied by striking visual effects, wushu stunts, energetic drumming performances and parkour displays. The mix of Mandopop and contemporary interpretations of Chinese cultural elements gave the concert a distinctive performance style.
The evening concluded with a post-concert electronic dance music party, where local DJ INQUISITIVE returned to perform on home ground while on his ongoing world tour. His live DJ set brought the crowd together for a final round of music and dancing.

Supporting Singapore’s local busking community was also part of this year’s programme. Before the main concert, SCCC held a special edition of The Buskers Showdown at the Singapore Indoor Stadium North Plaza. Open to members of the public and concertgoers, the event featured performances by local artistes Simon Tu, T Junction, Cloud & Party, Evan Goh and Jurine Chia.
Those who missed SING浪 2026, or would like to watch the performances again, can catch the concert on Channel 8 on Sunday, 27 December 2026, from 7pm to 8pm. It will also be available on mewatch until 26 March 2027. Mediacorp YES 933 served as the concert’s Official Radio Station.
