The BYD Singapore International Marathon 2026 presented by adidas (SGIM26) is celebrating Singapore’s running culture with a series of locally inspired product collaborations, as preparations continue for race weekend in December.

With less than two months to go, the event has teamed up with adidas, Singapore eyewear brand Sunday Shades, 100PLUS and Sunpride to introduce limited edition products inspired by the city, its running community and the determination of runners. The campaign centres on the event’s tagline, “Proven in Sweat. Powered by Spirit.”

Presenting sponsor adidas will launch a dedicated SGIM26 capsule collection on 23 October 2026, making Singapore the first Southeast Asian market to introduce a limited-edition full race capsule collection under the collaboration. The range includes the Adizero EVO SL running shoes and running apparel for men and women.
The collection draws inspiration from everyday experiences familiar to local runners, including early morning training sessions, post run kopi and well-known running routes. Its colour palette references Singapore’s heritage and landscape, incorporating cream tones inspired by traditional porcelain coffee cups, deep red associated with iconic brick roofed houses, green hues reflecting the Garden City and earthy browns representing well-trodden running paths.
Beyond its locally inspired design, the collection incorporates adidas performance technologies. ADIZERO technology supports energy return, CLIMACOOL helps runners stay cool and dry, while CLIMA365 construction uses technical fabrics designed for comfort during exercise.

Singapore based eyewear brand Sunday Shades, the event’s Official Sunglasses Sponsor, has also introduced Finisher Flare, a limited-edition pair of performance sunglasses created for SGIM26.
The sunglasses feature a deep blue matte rubberised frame, with “Proven in Sweat” printed on one temple and “Powered by Spirit” on the other. Red to gold mirrored lenses draw inspiration from the colours of a race day sunrise.
Designed for running, Finisher Flare comes with polarised lenses to reduce glare, UV400 protection and Sunday Shades’ FitFlow design for a secure fit during movement. Priced at S$59, the sunglasses are available for pre order, with delivery expected in early November.

Official Hydration Sponsor 100PLUS has unveiled limited edition 100PLUS ACTIVE cans featuring a marathon inspired design and the event’s official tagline. The commemorative cans recognise the effort behind training and completing every kilometre, while highlighting the brand’s role in supporting runners with hydration during training, on race day and throughout recovery. They are available at stores islandwide.
Official Banana Sunpride has also produced 250,000 specially designed SGIM26 commemorative stickers featuring the event’s lion emblem and tagline. The stickers will appear on Sunpride Cavendish bananas sold at supermarkets across Singapore, including Sheng Siong, Giant and Isetan, ahead of race weekend.
Meanwhile, registration for the BYD Marathon and adidas Half Marathon has closed, with 25,500 runners signed up across the two categories. Registration for the event’s other race categories remains open.
Participants range in age from 15 to 89, reflecting the event’s appeal across generations. Among them is 15-year-old Kaelyn Ng, who will take on her first half marathon after starting to run with her father at the age of 12. Their weekly Sunday morning runs helped introduce her to the sport.
At the other end of the age range is 69-year-old Jen Lim, who will run the BYD Marathon for the 40th time. His milestone comes more than three decades after he completed his first marathon in Singapore in 1992, aged 35.
