Shoppers in Singapore can discover pre-loved fashion, handmade crafts and independent local brands at a series of markets organised by Fleawhere and INVADE this November. Highlights include REMIX by Fleawhere’s limited time Mama Shop campaign, the youth focused SOMEWHERE @ Bugis and several Makers’ Market locations across the island.
At REMIX by Fleawhere, shoppers can browse pre-loved clothing and give second hand fashion a new lease of life while supporting participating vendors. The marketplace is also introducing the REMIX MAMA SHOP Spend and Redeem Campaign, which runs every Saturday and Sunday until further notice.
Visitors who spend S$10 at any single vendor will receive a coupon to participate in a pick and draw activity at the REMIX MAMA Counter, where they stand a chance to win a gift. Shoppers can receive more coupons by spending at participating vendors, giving them additional opportunities to take part in the activity.
REMIX MAMA SHOP operates every Saturday and Sunday from 1pm to 7pm at Staytion Lifestyle Centre, located at Dhoby Ghaut MRT, unit B1-10. Admission is free.
Another weekend destination is SOMEWHERE @ Bugis, a retail space at Bugis Street featuring rotating vendors selling pre-loved fashion and products from independent brands. The marketplace also provides opportunities for students to take over retail spaces and explore their creativity.
Designed as a youth focused retail and lifestyle destination, SOMEWHERE @ Bugis offers workshops, arcade games and an open deck where aspiring DJs can play their own music. On alternate weekends, fashion creators will also be on site to sell their pieces and share styling tips with shoppers.
SOMEWHERE @ Bugis opens every Saturday and Sunday from 1pm to 7pm at Level 2 of Bugis Street. Entry is free.
For shoppers interested in handmade products and original creations, Makers’ Market by INVADE will continue its regular pop ups at locations including Dhoby Ghaut and PLQ Mall. The curated marketplace brings together artisans, independent makers and small businesses selling handmade crafts and distinctive products from Singapore and the wider region.
The Dhoby Ghaut Makers’ Market runs daily from 11am to 4pm outside Staytion Lifestyle Centre at Dhoby Ghaut MRT. Meanwhile, Pushcarts by PARADE at PLQ Mall operates daily from 11am to 10pm, with locations across Basement 2, Basement 1, Level 1 and Level 2. Admission to both markets is free.
With options ranging from sustainable fashion and independent retail to handmade crafts, the markets offer shoppers opportunities to discover new products while supporting local vendors and small businesses. The regular weekend events and daily marketplace locations also give emerging creators a platform to connect with customers and showcase their work.
