Razer has unveiled the Kraken Kitty V3, a wired RGB headset designed for streamers, gamers and cosplay enthusiasts who want to combine audio performance with personal style. The latest addition to the brand’s Kraken Kitty lineup features its signature illuminated cat ears, customisable lighting effects and a microphone designed for clear voice capture.
The headset features Razer Chroma RGB lighting across its kitty ears and earcups, supporting 16.8 million colours. Users can customise the lighting to match their personal style, gaming setup or streaming persona. Through Razer’s Streamer Companion app, the lighting can also react to alerts, emotes and chat activity, allowing audience interactions to trigger visual effects during livestreams.
Beyond streaming, the Kraken Kitty V3 can also be used at conventions, cosplay gatherings and community events. By connecting its fixed USB Type C cable to a portable power bank, users can keep the RGB lighting illuminated while away from their computers. Three onboard lighting presets allow users to switch between colours and effects without needing to access the app.
For audio and communication, the headset comes with Razer’s HyperClear Cardioid Microphone, which prioritises the user’s voice while reducing background noise. This is designed to help streamers remain audible during livestreams, voice chats and gaming sessions.
The Kraken Kitty V3 is equipped with Razer TriForce 40mm drivers, a three-part driver design intended to deliver clearer and more detailed sound. Combined with 7.1 surround sound, the headset aims to improve audio separation and help players distinguish in game alerts, team communications and background sounds.
Comfort is another feature of the headset, with hybrid fabric and leatherette ear cushions designed for extended use and passive noise isolation. Its plug and play USB Type C connectivity supports compatible PC and mobile devices, allowing users to connect without a complicated setup.
The Razer Kraken Kitty V3 is available now through the Razer website, RazerStores and selected retailers worldwide. It has a recommended retail price of US$99.99 or €109.99.
