Park Hyatt Phu Quoc is set to open in December 2026, introducing the luxury hotel brand’s first resort in Vietnam with a concept inspired by traditional Vietnamese coastal villages. Designed as a contemporary Vietnamese Village by the Sea, the resort draws inspiration from coastal communities where families gather, cook and live across generations. Its layout features courtyards, shaded pathways and gardens integrated with the natural landscape, leading towards the sea. The design aims to balance shared spaces with privacy, creating an environment that feels like a private seaside residence.

The resort will feature 114 guestrooms and suites, 54 pool villas and The Manor, an eight-bedroom private residence designed for multigenerational stays. Guests can also arrange personalised itineraries based on their interests and preferences.

Local culture and island traditions will play a central role in the guest experience. Visitors can join rice farmers in the paddies, learn traditional open net fishing techniques, take part in a sunrise lotus blessing or visit the Whale Temple to discover local traditions connected to the sea. Beyond the resort, guests can explore black pepper farms, traditional fish sauce houses, hiking trails in Phu Quoc National Park and coral reefs rich in marine life.

Younger visitors will have their own space at the Kids’ Village, designed as a miniature village with activities including culinary classes, dance studios and craft workshops.

Dining and social activities will centre on The Courtyard, which will bring together six dining venues, two infinity pools and a sunset bar. The culinary programme will be led by Executive Chef Sheldon Fonseca, with restaurants and spaces showcasing Vietnamese flavours and international influences.

Fisherman’s will be a floating restaurant above the waves where guests can select seafood from a live tank. Herbs & Spice will feature Vietnamese family recipes passed down through three generations, while La Maisonette will offer French Riviera inspired dining. Pepper Grill will celebrate Phu Quoc’s pepper heritage through open fire cooking. Pool House & Bar will serve guests by the pools, while the Living Room will focus on Vietnamese coffee, cacao and chocolate.

Wellness will be another key part of the resort, with SOMA Wellbeing introducing what Park Hyatt describes as its first rhythm led living spa. Located beside a lotus lake, the spa will organise treatments and activities around circadian rhythms and natural daily cycles. Guests will be encouraged to move in the morning, find balance during the day and restore in the evening.

Traditional Vietnamese treatments will be complemented by modern recovery technologies, including infrared masks, biotech loungers and compression therapy.

Park Hyatt Phu Quoc is approximately 25 minutes from Phu Quoc International Airport. The island is served by direct international flights from Singapore, China, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, Hong Kong, South Korea and India, providing access for travellers from across the region.

Reservations are now open for stays beginning 18 December 2026. Guests staying at the resort on 31 December 2026 will also receive a New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner for all registered adult guests, with separate charges applying to children.
