Singaporean design brand Beyond The Vines has teamed up with Japanese camera brand Yashica for a collaboration that combines playful everyday design with photography. Called Forms of Play, the collaboration introduces the Funtastic Keychain Camera alongside new seasonal colours for Beyond The Vines’ popular Dumpling Bag, including its first limited edition suede version.
The collaboration draws inspiration from the idea of looking a little closer at everyday life. It brings together Yashica’s photographic heritage and Beyond The Vines’ approach to functional, playful design, encouraging people to notice and capture the small moments that might otherwise go unnoticed.
One of the key pieces from the collection is the Funtastic Keychain Camera, a compact camera designed to make capturing everyday moments more accessible and spontaneous. Its keychain format allows it to be carried around easily, making it a playful accessory for those who enjoy documenting their daily experiences.
The collaboration also brings a refresh to Beyond The Vines’ Dumpling Bag, one of the brand’s recognisable designs. New seasonal colours expand the existing range, while the limited edition Suede Dumpling Bag introduces a different material and texture to the familiar silhouette.
Through tonal colours, tactile materials and simple forms, the collection explores how small design changes can give familiar everyday objects a new character. The camera and bags approach the idea of everyday carry from different angles, combining an accessory for capturing memories with bags designed to accompany daily routines.
Beyond The Vines and Yashica unveiled the collaboration at a launch event on 22 October 2026 at the Beyond The Vines Design Store in Takashimaya Shopping Centre, Singapore.
