Run For Inclusion (RFI) will return for its 12th edition on Saturday, 7 November 2026, bringing Persons with Special Needs (PWSN), caregivers and members of the wider community together through sport.

Held at HomeTeamNS Bedok Reservoir, RFI 2026 will take place under the theme “Togetherness”, highlighting the connections that can be built when people of different abilities run alongside one another and share the journey towards the finish line.
Registration is now open, with the event aiming to attract 2,000 participants from the PWSN community, caregivers and the wider public.
Organised by Runninghour Co-operative Limited, RFI is built around the belief that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the joy, confidence and camaraderie that sport can provide, regardless of ability. The 2026 edition will focus on shared experiences and the different ways people can contribute to a more inclusive community, whether by running alongside a PWSN participant, volunteering, supporting fellow runners or cheering from the sidelines.
A new Relay Run category will make its debut this year, offering corporate teams, schools and community groups another way to participate in the event. Each team will consist of four participants, with each runner completing 2km before handing over to the next teammate. The format puts teamwork and collective participation at the centre of the race, with four runners working towards one shared distance and a common finish line.
Participants can choose from three categories: the 4km Run, 8km Run and Relay Run, which consists of four participants completing 2km each.
The signature Blindfold Run will also return. During the experience, sighted participants will be blindfolded and guided by fellow runners, allowing them to experience the importance of trust, communication and connection while running without sight.
The Blindfold Run is designed to encourage participants to step outside their usual perspectives and gain a deeper understanding of the experiences of people with visual impairment. It also highlights the importance of creating an environment where people of different abilities can participate in sport with confidence. Participants interested in taking part can indicate their preference during registration.
As part of Runninghour’s efforts to make inclusive sport more accessible, 1,000 complimentary entries will be offered to PWSN and their caregivers throughout the registration period, subject to availability.
RFI 2026 aims to provide more opportunities for people of different abilities to participate in sport, meet others and build meaningful connections within the community.
