Homegrown Singapore café Hello Arigato is celebrating its fifth anniversary by bringing together some of its most-loved dishes from across its six outlets on one refreshed menu, alongside new food and playful coffee creations.

The café first opened five years ago along Upper Thomson with a small team and a menu centred around Japanese-inspired sandos. Since then, Hello Arigato has expanded to six locations across Singapore, growing alongside the neighbourhood communities that have supported the brand.
The refreshed menu, available from 1 October, reflects five years of customer feedback and preferences. It brings together popular dishes that were previously exclusive to individual outlets, along with refreshed recipes and new creations, giving diners more opportunities to enjoy some of Hello Arigato’s best-performing dishes at locations across Singapore.
Among the highlights is the Big Fish Sando (S$22), which was previously available exclusively at Joo Chiat and Cross Street. The sando features crispy halibut fish katsu with pickled onions, shredded cabbage, Japanese tartar sauce, tobiko mayo and American cheddar, all served between soft Japanese milk bread. It joins established favourites including the Chicken Katsu Sando (S$16) and Truffle & Egg Sando (S$18).
The pasta selection has also been updated. The Hokkaido Milk Udon Carbonara (S$20) combines chewy Sanuki udon with a creamier and more savoury miso carbonara sauce, pancetta, caramelised leeks, egg yolk and Parmigiano Reggiano. The addition of miso gives the familiar carbonara a deeper umami flavour.
The Kurobuta Ragu Pasta (S$22) offers a new take on Hello Arigato’s Kurobuta Pork Ragu. Rigatoni has been replaced with mafalda pasta, which is paired with slow-cooked pork ragu, confit garlic and tomato sauce. The dish is finished with stracciatella cheese, basil coulis and chervil.
For something new, diners can try the PPP aka Pistachio Pesto Pasta (S$18). The dish features al dente spaghetti tossed in a pesto made with pistachio, fresh basil and Parmigiano Reggiano, topped with slices of Parma ham. A vegetarian version of the PPP is also available, along with a meat-free version of the Hokkaido Milk Udon Carbonara.
For sharing, the new Arigato Fried Chicken (S$10) features crispy chicken seasoned with Hello Arigato’s 10-spice house blend and served with a creamy wasabi ranch sauce.
The refreshed menu also brings together some of Hello Arigato’s popular matcha, coffee and café drinks. At the same time, the café is introducing a new Coffee Series that puts its in-house roasted beans at the centre of several playful takes on familiar beverages.
The new Coffee Series includes the Snowy Mont Blanc (S$8), made with 24-hour cold brew using Hello Arigato’s in-house roasted beans and topped with a light cream layer. The Coffee Cola Cloud (S$8) combines coffee and cola with Hello Arigato’s signature Cloud-style foam for a different take on the everyday coffee drink.
