Sony has launched the Xperia 10 VIII in Singapore, introducing a 10 Series smartphone focused on everyday convenience with a brighter display, enhanced stereo speakers, longer battery life and quick access to payment and rewards applications.
Available from 6 October 2026, the Xperia 10 VIII is priced at S$799 and comes in Frozen White, Frosted Grey and Misty Lilac.
As part of an early bird promotion running from 6 October to 4 November 2026, customers who purchase the Xperia 10 VIII will receive a matching Xperia 10 VIII case and a pair of LinkBuds Clip truly wireless headphones for free, while stocks last and subject to applicable terms and conditions.
One of the key upgrades is the smartphone’s display, which is approximately 50% brighter than the previous model. The display automatically adjusts colours according to ambient brightness, helping users view maps, messages and other content more easily when using the phone outdoors.
Sony has also upgraded the front stereo speakers. The revised speaker system and tuning deliver approximately 15% higher overall volume compared with the previous model, while bass is said to be 30% more powerful. The improvements are designed to provide clearer and more dynamic sound when watching videos or listening to music.
The Xperia 10 VIII also introduces a Rewards & Pay menu designed to make everyday transactions quicker. By double pressing the power button, users can access frequently used payment and retail rewards applications without having to navigate through the phone.
The smartphone comes with access to Google’s latest AI features, including Gemini, Circle to Search and Ask Photos, adding additional tools for searching, interacting with content and managing everyday tasks.
A large capacity battery provides up to two days of use, while Sony’s long life battery design is intended to maintain performance even after four years. The device also features 8GB of RAM and up to 6GB of virtual RAM to support smoother switching between applications.
The Xperia 10 VIII uses a translucent design concept for its rear panel, combining transparent material with a matte clear coating. The result is a lightweight and understated finish available in the three colour options.
Sony is also offering an optional style cover designed to complement the smartphone. The cover includes a built-in stand that supports both portrait and landscape orientations, allowing users to position the device for more comfortable video viewing while allowing the phone’s design to remain visible.
Alongside the standard model, Sony is also offering an Xperia 10 VIII Sony x Hello Kitty Collaboration Model. Created through Sony’s collaboration with Sanrio’s Hello Kitty, the special edition combines the Xperia 10 VIII with exclusive Hello Kitty accessories.
The collaboration package includes an original sacoche style shoulder bag designed to carry the Xperia and other small essentials, as well as a Hello Kitty tote bag. The model combines the slim and lightweight design of the Xperia 10 VIII with Hello Kitty themed details for everyday use and outings.
The Xperia 10 VIII Sony x Hello Kitty Collaboration Model is available for pre-order at S$919 through Sony Store channels and Sony Store Online.
The standard Xperia 10 VIII is available in Singapore from 6 October 2026 at a suggested retail price of S$799. Availability of both the standard and collaboration models may vary by Sony Store.
