Samsung Electronics has introduced the Galaxy A08 in Singapore, bringing upgraded everyday performance, a large 6,000mAh battery and new AI powered features to its latest Galaxy A series smartphone.

Designed for everyday use such as streaming, browsing social media, capturing photos and staying connected, the Galaxy A08 combines a Helio G99+ processor with upgraded LPDDR5 memory. RAM Plus also provides additional flexibility by using storage as virtual memory when needed.
The 6,000mAh battery is designed to support extended use throughout the day, whether users are watching videos, browsing social media or communicating with friends and family.
For photography, the Galaxy A08 features a 50MP autofocus main camera alongside a 2MP depth camera and an 8MP front camera. The setup is designed for capturing and sharing everyday photos and moments.
The Galaxy A08 also introduces several AI experiences aimed at making common smartphone tasks more intuitive. Enhanced Circle to Search allows users to circle or tap content on their screen to search for information without having to type or switch between applications. A new Find the Look feature allows users to search for an entire outfit, while the device can also identify music playing nearby.
Multiple AI agents further extend these capabilities across supported Galaxy native apps, Google apps and selected third party applications. By using voice commands or a long press, users can ask Gemini or Perplexity to activate supported apps and carry out tasks across different services.
The Galaxy A08 is also designed with long term reliability in mind. It carries an IP64 rating for protection against dust and water splashes, while Samsung is providing up to six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates.
Security features include Samsung Knox and Knox Vault. The latter provides hardware-based protection for sensitive information through a dedicated security environment designed to help safeguard private data.
In Singapore, the Galaxy A08 is available in Dark Blue, Silver and Green in a 4GB+128GB configuration. It is priced at $278.
Availability starts now at Samsung Experience Stores, Samsung Official Stores on Lazada, Shopee and TikTok, iShopChangi, and major Consumer Electronics and IT stores. The smartphone will also be available through the Samsung Online Store and Samsung Shop App from 9 October.
Customers who purchase the Galaxy A08 from now until 6 November can receive an instant $30 discount.
