HONOR X9e Pro launches in Singapore with 11,000mAh battery and extreme durability

HONOR has launched the new HONOR X9e Pro in Singapore, bringing eight major upgrades to its X Series with a focus on battery endurance, durability, water resistance, display performance, photography and AI features.

The new smartphone is built around an industry largest 11,000mAh battery, along with Armor-Tough drop resistance of up to 3 metres and IP68, IP69 and IP69K protection against water and dust.

The 11,000mAh battery is a significant increase over the 8,300mAh capacity found in the previous HONOR X9d. HONOR says the X9e Pro can deliver up to 66.8 hours of video playback and up to three days of typical use on a single charge.

Despite the large battery, the smartphone measures 8.08mm thick and weighs 203g across its four colour options. It supports 80W wired HONOR SuperCharge, up from the 66W charging supported by its predecessor, as well as 27W wired reverse charging for compatible smartphones and portable devices. HONOR also states that the battery has a six-year health expectancy.

For durability, the HONOR X9e Pro uses HONOR Ultra-Bounce Anti-Drop Technology 4.0, inspired by the Halo safety system used in open-wheel racing. The device is engineered to withstand drops of up to 3 metres across 10 challenging surfaces, including cobblestone, asphalt and rough granite.

Its 360° Dynamic Drop Resistance is designed to protect the phone against drops from different angles, with the company stating that it can withstand all-angle dynamic drops of up to 1.2 metres while reducing the risk of screen damage by 82%. The phone has also received SGS Premium Performance 5-Star certification for drop resistance in harsh scenarios.

The X9e Pro also carries IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings. Its IP69K protection is designed to withstand powerful and high-temperature water jets, while the phone can be immersed at depths of up to 10 metres. HONOR says the device has undergone 100,000 submersion cycles.

A three-layer sealing system provides additional protection around key openings such as the buttons, speaker, USB-C port and SIM tray. A precision drainage system around the speaker is also designed to help manage water exposure.

The smartphone features a 6.8-inch 1.5K display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Its ultra-bright display reaches up to 10,000 nits of peak brightness, designed to provide clearer viewing in bright outdoor environments.

For photography, the HONOR X9e Pro is equipped with a 108MP Ultra-Clear Main Camera featuring CIPA 6.0-level image stabilisation. The system combines optical image stabilisation and electronic image stabilisation to reduce blur caused by camera movement.

The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 Mobile Platform, supporting everyday activities such as communication, entertainment, photography and multitasking. The platform is paired with the large 11,000mAh battery to support longer periods of use.

HONOR has also added AI-powered imaging tools, including AI Zoom Enhancement for distant subjects, AI Night Enhancement for low-light photography and AI Portrait Enhancement for portraits. Live Photo captures movement around a moment for more dynamic images.

For viewing comfort, the HONOR X9e Pro introduces HONOR Oasis Eye Comfort with features including AI Defocus Display, Motion Sickness Relief, AI Personalised Display and Ultra Dark Mode. Intelligent touch recognition also allows the display to respond when users have damp or gloved hands.

The HONOR X9e Pro is available for pre-order in Singapore from 25 September to 1 October 2026. Customers who pre-order can receive gifts and benefits worth up to S$626, including an HONOR Pad X7 (4GB + 128GB) WiFi, one-year extended warranty, HONOR 365-day Front & Back Crack Protection, HONOR Liquid Damage Protection and an instant S$30 rebate, while stocks last.

Pre-orders are available through HONOR Experience Stores, HONOR’s official stores on Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop, as well as selected retail partners including Harvey Norman, Best Denki, Courts, Gain City, Challenger, Popular and KrisShop. Telco partners will also offer the device.

The HONOR X9e Pro comes in Royal Purple, Reddish Brown, Dawn Gold and Midnight Black. The 18GB RAM configuration, including 12GB HONOR RAM Turbo, with 128GB storage is priced at S$499, reduced from S$529 after the S$30 rebate. The 24GB RAM configuration, including 16GB HONOR RAM Turbo, with 256GB storage costs S$629, reduced from S$659 after the rebate. The top 24GB RAM configuration with 16GB HONOR RAM Turbo and 512GB storage is priced at S$799, reduced from S$829 after the rebate.
