YASHICA Adds Four New Designs to Its FUNtastic Keychain Camera Series

YASHICA has expanded its FUNtastic Keychain Camera series with four new designs, adding the YASHICA Sailor Boy, Basketball Snoopy, Cherries Hello Kitty and Polka Dot Edition to its collection of compact wearable cameras.

Designed to function as both cameras and accessories, the FUNtastic series combines photography with collectible designs that can be clipped onto bags, keys or pouches. The new models are part of FUNtastic World, YASHICA’s creative universe where each camera represents a different personality and mood.

The YASHICA Sailor Boy edition features the brand’s original Sailor Boy character and is inspired by exploration and adventure. It represents the Wanderers personality within FUNtastic World, with a maritime themed design aimed at users who enjoy discovering new places and experiences.

Basketball Snoopy brings the Peanuts character into the series with a sports inspired design. Featuring Snoopy in action, the camera represents the Sparks personality and focuses on themes of energy, friendship, teamwork and outdoor activities.

The Cherries Hello Kitty edition features a cherry inspired design with Hello Kitty’s signature look, combining soft colours with playful details. It represents the Blush personality within FUNtastic World.

The Polka Dot Edition also falls under the Blush personality and combines a classic polka dot pattern with Hello Kitty’s design. The camera is intended to function as both a photography accessory and an everyday fashion item.

All FUNtastic cameras are designed to be carried throughout the day. Each weighs 22g and measures 6.3cm by 2.2cm by 2.5cm. Their compact size allows users to attach them to bags, keys or belt loops.

Each camera also features a 180-degree flip screen for selfies, group photographs and other shots where users want to include themselves in the frame. A built in LED light is included for photography in indoor and low light environments, including parties, concerts, festivals and evening gatherings.

The cameras are designed for a range of everyday situations, from holidays and weekend trips to days out with friends, celebrations and casual moments. Their collectible character designs also position them as gifts for fans of YASHICA, Hello Kitty and Snoopy.

The name FUNtastic combines the words “fun” and “fantastic”, reflecting YASHICA’s approach to making photography more casual and accessible. The current collection also includes YASHICA Boy, Snoopy’s Summit, Snoopy Sweet Dreams Home and Classic Hello Kitty.

With the addition of the four new models, the FUNtastic lineup now comprises eight cameras, with YASHICA continuing to expand the series through original designs and character collaborations.

All four new YASHICA FUNtastic Keychain Cameras are currently available for pre order through the YASHICA website, with shipments expected to begin during the week of 28 September 2026.
