OCBC is refreshing its flagship OCBC 365 Credit Card with a simpler cashback structure and higher earn rates across several everyday spending categories from 1 November 2026.

Under the refreshed benefits, customers who spend at least S$800 a month will qualify for 6% cashback on groceries, dining, transport and petrol, with monthly cashback capped at S$160. The new rate doubles the previous 3% cashback offered on groceries and transport, while giving cardholders a single minimum spend requirement instead of multiple spending tiers.
Previously, customers spending at least S$800 but less than S$1,600 a month had their monthly cashback capped at S$80. Under the new structure, the S$800 minimum monthly spend will qualify cardholders for up to S$160 in cashback, making it easier to understand how much they need to spend to access the enhanced benefits.
The dining category has also been expanded to include fast food establishments, allowing cardholders to earn 6% cashback across more dining occasions.
The changes are aimed at everyday spending, with an OCBC survey conducted in July 2026 among 600 working adults in Singapore aged 21 to 64 finding that cashback on essentials such as dining, groceries and public transport remained more appealing than categories including entertainment and travel. Participants also cited cashback as a way to reduce the impact of regular household expenses.
OCBC said the refreshed card proposition builds on the spending habits of its existing customers. Since the OCBC 365 Credit Card was launched in 2014, it has remained widely used, with three in five OCBC credit cardholders currently holding an OCBC 365 Credit Card. Cardholders make more than 25 transactions a month on average using the card.
Customers who hold both an OCBC 365 Credit Card and an OCBC 360 Account can also receive bonus interest on the first S$100,000 of their OCBC 360 Account balance when they spend at least S$500 a month on the credit card. More than one in four customers who hold both products qualify for this bonus interest each month.
The refreshed benefits also extend to overseas spending. Almost one in four overseas transactions made on the OCBC 365 Credit Card currently takes place in Malaysia. From 1 November, cardholders can earn 6% cashback on overseas dining, groceries, petrol and transport spending, including transactions made in Malaysia.
OCBC expects more than one third of overseas spending on the OCBC 365 Credit Card to take place in Malaysia following the refresh, as Singaporeans continue to travel across the border for leisure and other activities.
With the changes, the OCBC 365 Credit Card will offer a single S$800 monthly minimum spend requirement, 6% cashback across groceries, dining, transport and petrol, and a monthly cashback cap of S$160 from 1 November 2026.
