From now until 18 October, shoppers can redeem Butterbear Happy Treats when they spend at participating outlets at orchardgateway. A minimum spend of S$120 comes with a S$10 voucher and a one-hour free parking coupon. Those who spend at least S$250 can receive an additional Butterbear Blind Box containing one of four different eco bag and charm designs, while stocks last.

Shoppers can also take part in the Butterbear Happy Quest from 26 September to 9 October. The in-mall hunt features 10 checkpoints across orchardgateway, with participants using a digital map to explore different parts of the mall, visit participating shops and locate each checkpoint.

Along the way, shoppers can spot Butterbear in different looks and take photos with the character-themed displays. Those who complete the quest can redeem a prize during the Race Pack Collection period from 9 to 10 October, while stocks last.

The Butterbear Happy Walk on 17 October will mark the main event of the celebration. Although tickets have sold out, the mall will join in the race-day festivities, with participating stores offering activities, games, prizes and promotions for participants.

Butterbear installations will also be placed throughout orchardgateway, including larger displays and themed standees featuring the character in different looks.

Participants finishing the Happy Walk at orchardgateway can take photos at several Butterbear-themed installations around the mall. These include a 4-metre-high inflatable at the Plaza and a 2-metre-high inflatable outside Jian Cha at B1. Festive flags will line the Beam walkway, while celebratory banners will be placed around the tube and Level 1 Runway.

The Butterbear inflatables will remain at orchardgateway for photo opportunities until 1 November 2026, allowing shoppers to continue enjoying the installations after the Happy Walk.

Several stores will also take part in the celebrations with activities, vouchers and discounts. Participating outlets include CHAGEE, Coffee by Dlike, Jian Cha, Nong Geng Ji and YGF Mala Tang, as well as lifestyle brands Rolife and Hands on Klay.

On Happy Walk race day, participants can take part in several exclusive in-store activities. CHAGEE will host a “Smell & Guess the Tea” challenge, while Nong Geng Ji will put participants’ chopstick skills to the test with a Giant Chopsticks Challenge involving fruit and vegetable props placed in a pool of balls. At Hands on Klay, participants can attempt to recreate a hidden arrangement of five items for a chance to win prizes.

Happy Walk participants can also collect a Game Card from any participating store and receive a stamp after completing its activity. After collecting at least three stamps, participants can visit the Lucky Draw Booth at B1, in front of Scarlett (#B1-03), to redeem an exclusive Butterbear sticker sheet.

Game Cards and sticker sheets are available on a first-come, first-served basis while stocks last.
