With the September school holidays underway in Singapore, foodpanda is rolling out a series of food promotions alongside a new AI powered tool designed to make planning family meals easier.

The food delivery platform has launched a foodpanda plug in for ChatGPT and Claude, allowing users to search for restaurants and dishes directly through their AI chats. The tool can help families find meals based on their cravings, dietary requirements, group size and budget before directing them to the foodpanda app or website to complete their orders.
To use the feature on ChatGPT, users can enable the foodpanda plug in and start prompts with @foodpanda. On Claude, users can include “foodpanda” in their prompt to access the plug in and receive meal suggestions.

Families can use prompts such as asking for a lunch combination for four children and two adults under S$50 that includes pizza and drinks, finding ice cream or dessert options that can be delivered during hot weather, or requesting dinner ideas for a family of four that include available discounts.
The AI meal planning feature comes as foodpanda introduces several September promotions aimed at helping families save on food during the school break.

From now until 16 September, selected items under the HOT DEALS promotion are available at 50% off. Participating options include Mix & Match Bento Bundles and Value Sets from A-One Signature, selected drinks and afternoon pick me ups from Starbucks, as well as Salted Egg Crab Ramen, Chilli Crab Ramen and Butashoga Shoyu Ramen from Takagi Ramen.
