Decathlon Singapore and MetaSport have unveiled the official course maps for The Kiprun Singapore 2026, which will take place on Sunday, 27 September 2026.
The race will flag off along Nicoll Highway before finishing at Decathlon Singapore Lab. The newly revealed routes take runners through some of Singapore’s most recognisable waterfront and city landmarks, combining open road sections designed for smoother pacing with entertainment and live experiences along the course.
The routes are designed to offer runners a changing view of Singapore from the early morning darkness into daylight. Participants will run along the Kallang Basin with views of the National Stadium, before continuing along Sheares Avenue for panoramic views of the city skyline. The routes also pass Marina Bay Sands, the ArtScience Museum, Singapore Flyer, Marina Barrage and Gardens by the Bay.
A key focus of the course design is creating more space for runners to settle into their pace. Early sections make use of wide roads including Nicoll Highway and Stadium Boulevard, helping to reduce congestion and allow participants to establish their target rhythm from the start.
The routes also feature sweeping curves instead of numerous sharp 90 degree turns, helping runners maintain momentum. Structured wave starts, dedicated pacers and timing split mats positioned every 5km will support race management and timing across the different distance categories.
The event will also incorporate dedicated Hype Zones along the routes to keep runners engaged during the race. These areas will feature visual lighting installations, kinetic displays and live artistic performances at selected milestones, adding energy to what can otherwise be quiet and demanding stretches of an early morning road race.
The 21.1km, 10km and 5km categories will all start on Nicoll Highway and finish at Decathlon Singapore Lab. The venue will then be transformed into a Festival Village featuring recovery zones, entertainment and activities for runners and their supporters.
The Festival Village will remain open until 11am, with activities and surprises planned for visitors of different ages.
