New Balance Singapore is giving runners the chance to test its latest running shoes in real running conditions through a complimentary shoe trial programme at its Suntec City store.
Open to runners of all experience levels, the programme allows participants to book a one-hour session online, receive fitting guidance in store and take a selected pair of running shoes for a self-guided run around Suntec City and Marina Bay.
The trial programme features a range of New Balance running shoes, from everyday trainers such as the Ellipse, FuelCell Rebel and 1080 to performance focused models including the SuperComp Rebel and SuperComp Elite.
The initiative is designed to help runners experience how different shoes fit, feel and perform on the road before deciding which model best suits their needs. It is open to those taking up running for the first time, runners returning after a break and those working towards a new personal best.
Trial sessions are available from Monday to Thursday and can be booked up to 14 days in advance, subject to availability. On Mondays, sessions run from 4pm to 8.30pm, with the final booking at 7pm. From Tuesday to Thursday, sessions are available from 10.30am to 8.30pm, with the final booking at 7.30pm.
The shoe trial forms part of New Balance’s Run Your Way platform, which encourages runners to approach the sport according to their own pace, goals and starting point.
Among the performance models available to try are the SuperComp Rebel v1 and SuperComp Elite v6. Priced at S$299, the SuperComp Rebel v1 is designed as a lightweight and energetic option for everyday training, giving runners a race inspired feel without having to wait for race day.
The SuperComp Elite v6, priced at S$339, is designed for runners targeting personal bests over longer distances. It represents New Balance’s Ultra Light Race Day offering for those preparing for competitive events.
Together, the range gives runners options across different stages of their running journey, whether they are looking for a comfortable daily trainer or a shoe designed for race day performance.
Trial shoe models and sizes are subject to availability. Recommended models may also vary depending on a participant’s running experience, goals and fitting requirements.
Beyond Suntec City, the New Balance SuperComp Rebel v1 and SuperComp Elite v6 are available at New Balance stores at Jewel, Paragon, VivoCity and Novena, as well as online.
