FairPrice Launches New Mala and Sauerkraut Fish Skin Snacks in Singapore

FairPrice is turning up the flavour with two new additions to its Fish Skin range, introducing Mala Fish Skin and Sauerkraut Fish Skin this August.

Inspired by the growing popularity of Chinese cuisine and demand for more adventurous snack flavours, the new offerings pair crispy fish skin with bold taste profiles inspired by popular Chinese dishes. Both are positioned as snacks for those looking beyond more conventional flavours.

The Sauerkraut Fish Skin (S$8) is the first of its kind to be launched by FairPrice, bringing a distinctive sour, savoury and spicy profile to the fish skin category. It is designed to offer a combination of tangy and savoury notes for snack lovers looking to try something different.

For those who prefer more heat, the Mala Fish Skin (S$8) delivers a spicy and numbing kick characteristic of mala flavours. The combination is aimed particularly at spice lovers who enjoy the fiery and tingling sensation associated with mala cuisine.

The two new flavours join FairPrice’s existing Fish Skin range as the retailer looks to expand its selection of bold and unconventional snack options.
