Singapore Tennis Open 2026 Returns as WTA 500 Event With Jessica Pegula and Global Tennis Stars

Singapore is set to welcome some of the biggest names in women’s tennis as the Singapore Tennis Open 2026 returns to The Kallang from 21 to 27 September, upgraded this year to a WTA 500 event.

Presented by BNP Paribas, the tournament will move to the larger-capacity OCBC Arena, allowing more fans from Singapore and across the region to experience world-class tennis live.

The upgraded tournament will feature a strong international and regional line-up led by World No. 3 Jessica Pegula. The field also includes reigning French Open Singles Champion Mirra Andreeva, currently ranked World No. 5, World No. 10 Amanda Anisimova, top-ranked Filipino Alexandra Eala, Singapore Tennis Open 2025 Singles Champion Elise Mertens, two-time Grand Slam Champion Barbora Krejcikova, Indonesian player Janice Tjen and China’s No. 1 Wang Xinyu.

Pegula enters the tournament as one of the leading names in the field. At a career-high World No. 3 ranking, the American has won 11 singles titles and seven doubles titles. Her aggressive and dynamic style of play is expected to be one of the major attractions for fans attending the tournament.

The action begins with the qualifying rounds on 19 and 20 September, where players will compete for the final places in the Main Draw. Admission to both qualifying days is free, giving tennis fans the opportunity to watch emerging and established players compete for their place in the tournament. The Main Draw will run from 21 to 27 September and will feature a 28-player singles field alongside a 16-team doubles draw.

The Singapore Tennis Open will also bring together a strong group of commercial partners. Presenting sponsor BNP Paribas will introduce its global Points for Change Programme at this year’s tournament. Under the initiative, every point scored during the competition will be converted into a donation to Daughters of Tomorrow, a Singapore-registered charity that supports women from low-income families in achieving financial independence and creating opportunities for social mobility.

BNP Paribas will be joined by Mercedes-Benz, ASICS, Turkish Airlines, Wilson, Hilton Singapore Orchard, Samsung, Morgan Stanley, Vittel and Maison Perrier, Grab, Singapore Pools, State Property and Nanyang Inc. as sponsors of the Singapore Tennis Open 2026.

Fans looking to attend the tournament can choose from several ticket options. The qualifying match days on 19 and 20 September are free for members of the public, with seats available on a first-come, first-served basis and subject to venue capacity.

For the Main Draw from 21 to 27 September, session tickets are available for individual day or evening sessions, allowing fans to select specific matches. A Single-Day Pass provides access to all matches and sessions on a selected day, while the 7-Day Pass gives fans access throughout the Main Draw, from the opening matches through to the finals on 27 September.

Alongside the Singapore Tennis Open, the Singapore Tennis Invitational Cup (STIC) 2026 will return from 23 to 26 September at the Kallang Tennis Hub. Organised by the Singapore Tennis Association in partnership with The Kallang Group, the four-day competition will feature leading national players from across the region. Entry to STIC 2026 is free and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Away from the courts, fans can also experience the tournament atmosphere at the Fan Zone in Arena Park. Open to the public, the Fan Zone will offer food and beverage options, interactive activities, merchandise booths and screenings of selected tennis matches.
