Club Med is bringing back the Club Med Padel Cup in 2026, expanding the tournament across eight markets as the fast-growing sport continues to gain momentum across Asia Pacific. Following its successful debut, the Club Med Padel Cup 2026 will run from July to November across Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan and India.
The tournament has doubled in scale compared with last year, combining competitive padel with the social atmosphere and joie de vivre associated with Club Med holidays. National tournaments will take place in cities across the region, with local champions earning the opportunity to compete in the Club Med Padel Cup Grand Slam Finale at Club Med Phuket from 30 November to 3 December 2026.
The Grand Slam Finale will bring finalists together for five days and four nights of matches, masterclasses and coaching workshops led by professional athletes. Participants will also get to experience Club Med Phuket, one of the brand’s popular beach resorts, while competing for resort holidays and prizes from Club Med’s long standing padel partner, Babolat.
Padel has become an increasingly prominent part of Club Med’s sports offering, with more than 75 padel facilities across its resorts worldwide. The sport is available to players of different experience levels, from beginners to experienced competitors. In Southeast Asia and the Pacific, guests can play padel at resorts including Club Med Bintan, Club Med Kani and Club Med Phuket, with the new Club Med Borneo also set to open by the end of 2026.
Beyond the region, padel is also available at Club Med South Africa and other resorts as Club Med continues to expand its sports offering as part of its premium and luxury all-inclusive holiday experience.
For the 2026 Club Med Padel Cup, the Bangkok City Tournament will take place on 2 August, followed by Hong Kong on 22 August, Sydney on 30 August and Tokyo on 6 September. Kuala Lumpur will host its city tournament from 11 to 13 September, while Singapore will stage its tournament from 1 to 4 October. The Taiwan City Tournament will take place on 9 October.
The tournament series will culminate in the Club Med Padel Cup Grand Slam at Club Med Phuket from 30 November to 3 December 2026.
Club Med is also strengthening its presence in the region’s growing padel community through its partnership with Tatler. The brand is the Official Lifestyle Partner of the Tatler Padel Series, described as Asia’s first premium padel tournament. The partnership brings together padel, luxury lifestyle and premium all-inclusive travel while connecting Club Med with the sport’s expanding community across Asia.
The 2026 Tatler Padel Series is expected to bring together more than 2,000 players, enthusiasts and members of the Tatler community across seven cities. The series began in Bali from 23 to 26 July, followed by Kuala Lumpur from 8 to 9 and 15 to 16 August, Bangkok from 22 to 23 August and Singapore from 28 to 29 August. Events in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Dubai are scheduled for October, before the Regional Final in November 2026.
