The Westin Singapore is inviting the public to lace up for a 5km evening run around Marina Bay on 4 August 2026 as it celebrates its appointment as the Official Professional Field Hotel of the 2026 BYD Singapore International Marathon presented by adidas. The event also marks the hotel’s fourth consecutive year supporting Singapore’s premier marathon while launching a new wellness campaign focused on movement, resilience and inclusion.

L-R: Gregory Pink, Jason Leong, Natalie Dau

Open to runners of all abilities, the community run will begin at 7.30pm and be led by The Westin Singapore’s Run Concierge, Guo Pei, together with para-athletes, endurance runners and disability advocates. Designed as an inclusive event, the run aims to demonstrate support for Singapore’s persons with disabilities community while encouraging participants to embrace movement as a way to connect and inspire one another.

Leading the campaign are endurance athlete Natalie Dau, para-athlete Gregory Pink and Jason Leong from the Singapore Disability Sports Council. They are joined by disability advocate and Fire City Gym owner Samuel Lim, along with his visually impaired members Pei Pei and BK, all of whom will also take part in this year’s BYD Singapore International Marathon presented by adidas.

Each ambassador will take on a different challenge during the marathon. Gregory Pink will compete in the 10km race using his prosthetic leg for the first time, while Natalie Dau will participate in all three race categories, including the 10km, half marathon and full marathon. Pei Pei and BK will each complete the 10km race under the guidance of Samuel Lim.

The community run forms part of a larger launch programme at The Westin Singapore. Registration and engagement activities will begin from 6pm, followed by welcome remarks and an opening address by General Manager James Walkden at 6.45pm. Guests will also be treated to the premiere of the campaign trailer before meeting the campaign ambassadors.

The evening’s programme includes a guest speaker session with Gregory Burns and a fireside conversation featuring Natalie Dau, Gregory Pink and Jason Leong, who will share personal stories about resilience, inclusion and the role movement has played in their lives. Through these conversations, the campaign aims to highlight how running can bring together people of all abilities while creating opportunities for everyone to challenge themselves and participate.

Participants joining the 5km run will have the opportunity to run alongside the ambassadors and advocates on one of Singapore’s most recognisable waterfront routes. The evening will conclude with post run refreshments, networking opportunities, community engagement activities and a lucky draw where two winners will receive 10km race entries to the 2026 BYD Singapore International Marathon presented by adidas.
