Created as a platform to showcase artistic expression through fashion, SkechVibe collaborates with creative talents whose unique perspectives resonate with today’s generation. For its latest release, Skechers partners with Cloakwork, whose vibrant murals, playful illustrations and eye-catching characters have become instantly recognisable across Malaysia and beyond.

Cloakwork began his artistic journey more than a decade ago, starting with graffiti in his Kuala Lumpur neighbourhood before expanding into murals, illustration and large-scale public art installations both locally and internationally. His distinctive use of bold colours, expressive characters and energetic compositions has also led to collaborations in wearable art, making him a natural fit for the SkechVibe platform.

The SkechVibe x Cloakwork Collection features four exclusive unisex knit-short sleeve T shirt designs and a matching tote bag, with each design available in two colourways. Drawing inspiration from Cloakwork’s artistic language, the collection combines playful characters, graffiti inspired graphics and vibrant visual elements to encourage wearers to express their individuality through fashion.

The first T shirt design embraces a relaxed holiday mood, featuring a character lounging in a hammock between two palm trees with a refreshing drink nearby and sandals resting on the sand. Finished with warm coastal colours and bold “SKECHERS SUMMER CLUB” lettering, it captures the carefree feeling of summer.

Another design pays tribute to Cloakwork’s early graffiti roots, showcasing a character peeking over a brick wall shaped like the iconic Skechers “S”, surrounded by spray cans, paint drips and a classic boombox. The artwork reflects the artist’s beginnings and celebrates the creativity that started with nothing more than a blank wall and a spray can.

The third design channels the energy of the city with a scooter carrying a delivery box marked “SKECH VIBE”, accompanied by Cloakwork’s signature graffiti tag. A cloud of graffiti lettering spelling “SKECHERS” trails behind the scooter, while a walking shoe cleverly doubles as the front kickstand, adding a playful twist to the urban inspired artwork.

Completing the apparel range is a lively design centred around music and movement, featuring two sneaker character mascots walking side by side with their laces intertwined as they hold hands. Surrounded by musical notes, a comic style “SKECH VIBE” burst and a Skechers road sign transformed into a disco ball, the artwork captures the fun and energy of a night out. The T shirts are available in Snow White and Black Beauty and retail for S$49 each.

The collection also includes a unisex tote bag priced at S$39. Designed as the hero piece of the collaboration, it features a cartoon self portrait of Cloakwork holding a spray can while creating graffiti on a brick wall shaped like the Skechers “S”. Made from 100 percent cotton, the tote is designed to complement the rest of the collection as an everyday accessory and is also available in Snow White and Black Beauty.

Priced from S$39, the SkechVibe x Cloakwork Collection is now available for a limited time at Skechers stores in Bugis Junction, Century Square, Jem, Junction 8, Northpoint City, Suntec City, VivoCity and Wisma Atria.
