Century Square Celebrates 8th Anniversary with Over 8,888 Gifts, Daily iPhone 17 Giveaways and Month-Long Festivities

Century Square is marking its 8th anniversary with a month-long Birthday Bash packed with rewards, entertainment and family friendly experiences. Running from 3 July to 9 August 2026, the celebration will transform the mall into a vibrant hub of activities, featuring more than 8,888 gifts, daily iPhone 17 giveaways, exclusive shopping rewards and special promotions for visitors of all ages.

One of the biggest highlights is Happy-verse, an immersive multi-sensory experience taking place at the event atrium from 27 July to 2 August. Open from 12pm to 9pm on weekdays and 11am to 9pm on weekends, the attraction combines interactive digital environments with engaging hands-on activities designed to encourage discovery, play and social sharing.

Visitors can test their luck at the Giant Human Claw Machine, a larger-than-life version of the arcade favourite where participants become the claw and attempt to grab prizes within a limited time. Every attempt guarantees a prize, with more than $25,000 worth of rewards available throughout the event. Prizes include daily iPhone 17 giveaways, a Zero Healthcare massage chair worth $2,990, Sony PlayStation 5 consoles, Golden Village movie tickets, FairPrice Finest vouchers and highly sought after Pokémon cards.

Another attraction at Happy-verse is Move to the Beat, an interactive challenge inspired by viral online videos where participants use arm movements and quick reflexes to respond to a series of surprise actions on screen.

Shoppers can redeem entry for two people and one Giant Human Claw Machine attempt with a minimum spend of $30 in a single transaction, limited to one same day receipt.

The festivities continue on 25 July with Century Square’s Birthday Bash celebrations. From 2pm to 5pm, shoppers can enjoy complimentary birthday treats including popsicles, cake pops, balloon sculptures and a giant bubble experience. A roaming giveaway squad will also be distributing exclusive freebies throughout the mall.

At 5pm, the celebration shifts into high gear with a lively Birthday Parade featuring dancers, stilt walkers and drummers. Along the parade route, shoppers can look forward to giveaways including Disney blind boxes, drink vouchers from Starbucks, Bober Tea and Old Tea Hut, as well as tote bags, pouches, sticker books, balloons and complimentary massage vouchers.

Children aged between three and 12 years old can pre-register from 3 to 23 July to take part in the parade. Participants will receive a makeover pack and a curated goodie bag worth $50. They will also have the opportunity to compete for FRx Gift Cards valued at $300, $200 and $100 for the top three best dressed participants. Registration requires a minimum spend of $30 in a single transaction and is limited to one child per qualifying receipt.

Adding to the celebrations, shoppers who spend $150 across a maximum of three same day receipts, with a minimum spend of $20 in a single transaction, can redeem one of two exclusive colour block crossbody bag designs while stocks last. From 6 July, FRx 50+ members can also receive an additional $5 FRx Gift Card with qualifying redemptions.

Food lovers can participate in the B1 Food Kiosk Rewards programme throughout the campaign period. By spending at least $10 at participating B1 food kiosks, shoppers can collect stamps and work towards rewards including vouchers from The SGFR Store, Ya Kun Kaya Toast, FairPrice and FRx Gift Cards. Stamp cards can be collected from the Level 3 concierge and are presented in the form of a tissue pack.

To mark its eighth birthday, Century Square is also rolling out a range of specially curated $8 deals across participating tenants. Shoppers can enjoy value for money offers and bundle promotions from brands including Beard Papa’s, Bober Tea, Dickson Nasi Lemak and many others.
