Pokémon Champions Launches on Mobile Devices with New Competitive Battle Experience and Special Raichu Campaign

The Pokémon Company has announced that its latest title Pokémon Champions is now available to download for free on iOS and Android devices, expanding access beyond the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 platforms. The game brings fast paced competitive Pokémon battles to players on the go, allowing users to engage in strategic matchups anytime and anywhere.

A free update has also been released for the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Pokémon Champions. Players using the newer console can enjoy improved visual clarity when playing the game, provided they connect to the internet and download the latest update data at no additional cost.

In addition, Tsunekazu Ishihara and the development team have introduced a limited time in game campaign featuring Raichu. Running until 2 September 2026, the event allows players on both mobile and console versions to receive Raichu, along with Raichunite X and Raichunite Y, via their in-game mailbox.

These items enable Raichu to undergo Mega Evolution into Mega Raichu X and Mega Raichu Y, introducing new battle strategies and expanding gameplay options for competitive players.
