Luckin Coffee is turning everyday coffee breaks into playful moments with the launch of a special collaboration inspired by Disney and Pixar’s upcoming Toy Story 5. The campaign, titled “Play Mode: ON”, officially begins on 11 June 2026 and brings themed beverages, limited edition packaging and collectible merchandise to stores for a limited time.
The collaboration is designed to capture the spirit of imagination, friendship and adventure associated with the Toy Story franchise, while adding a lighthearted twist to Luckin Coffee’s everyday menu experience.
Leading the launch is the Buddy Apple Butter Latte, available from 11 June 2026. The drink combines smooth coffee with roasted apple notes, caramel drizzle and a lightly salted cheese foam topping, creating a sweet and savoury profile. A crisp apple chip garnish completes the beverage, which is described as offering buttery, toasted flavours balanced with a fruity finish.
A second seasonal drink, the Pear Play Latte, will join the lineup from 25 June 2026. This beverage blends pear flavours with soft floral gardenia notes and espresso, resulting in a lighter, more refreshing coffee option designed for those who prefer subtle fruit and floral tones.
Both beverages will be served in limited time Toy Story 5 themed packaging, reinforcing the playful concept behind the collaboration and adding a collectible element to the coffee experience.
Alongside the drinks, Luckin Coffee is rolling out a series of Toy Story 5 inspired collectibles. From 11 June 2026, customers who purchase any two drinks will receive a complimentary Toy Story 5 x Luckin Coffee Play Mode: ON sticker set, available while stocks last.
Customers will also be able to purchase a themed merchandise bundle from the same date. Priced at S$14.88, the Toy Story 5 x Luckin Coffee Crazy Click Click bundle includes two drinks and one-character themed keychain. The keychains come in five different designs, distributed randomly in blind box style, making them a collectible item for fans.
The collaboration aims to extend the experience beyond beverages, turning coffee moments into opportunities for play, surprise and collection. By combining themed drinks with limited edition merchandise, Luckin Coffee is tapping into the nostalgia and creativity associated with the Toy Story universe.
Customers can find participating Luckin Coffee outlets and redeem the Toy Story 5 collaboration offerings via the brand’s mobile app, with availability subject to store participation and while stocks last.
