Mediacorp to Broadcast 28 FIFA World Cup 2026 Matches Free-to-Air in Biggest Coverage Yet for Singapore Viewers

Mediacorp, the official broadcast rights holder of the FIFA World Cup 2026 in Singapore, has announced its most extensive free-to-air coverage of the tournament to date, offering 28 matches live on Channel 5 and mewatch.

The expanded lineup marks a significant increase from the nine free-to-air matches broadcast during the 2022 edition. This year, viewers will be able to watch the Opening Match, 23 Group Stage fixtures, both Semi-Finals, the Third-Place Playoff, and the Final live, bringing the tournament’s biggest moments directly to audiences across Singapore.

In addition to live match coverage, fans will be able to access curated highlights and key moments through mewatch as well as Mediacorp Sports channels on YouTube, TikTok and other digital platforms. The multi-platform approach is designed to make the tournament more accessible while enhancing engagement through bite-sized and on-demand content.

For viewers who want full coverage of the competition, all 104 matches will be available live and on demand on mewatch, as well as through Mediacorp’s pay-TV partners Singtel and StarHub. A standard tournament pass is priced at S$118.
