Supergirl and Rescue Heroes Unite at Wisma Atria for Heartwarming “Heroes With Paws” Event

Dog lovers, families and superhero fans can look forward to an evening of heartwarming fun at “SUPERGIRL: Heroes With Paws”, a special public event taking place outside Wisma Atria on 20 June from 5pm to 7pm.

Held in conjunction with the upcoming release of SUPERGIRL, which opens in cinemas and IMAX on 24 June, the event celebrates the themes of courage, resilience and companionship that are at the heart of the new DC Studios film.

Just as Supergirl embarks on an epic adventure alongside her loyal canine companion Krypto, the event will shine a spotlight on real life rescue dogs from the Singapore-based animal welfare organisation SOSD. Visitors will have the chance to meet several rescue dogs currently searching for their forever homes and learn about the inspiring journeys that brought them there.

One of the highlights of the evening is the superhero-inspired Paw-rade, featuring SOSD’s Canine Chums and their human heroes. Fosterers and handlers will introduce each dog and share their unique stories, personalities and special traits, showcasing why every rescue dog deserves to be recognised as a hero in its own right.

Guests can also participate in fun on-stage games and interactive Q&A sessions for a chance to win attractive prizes. The event will feature a SUPERGIRL standee for photo opportunities, along with exclusive event premiums available while stocks last.
