Vietjet Launches Hanoi–Prague Route, Expanding Direct Links Between Vietnam and Europe

Vietjet is strengthening its European network with the launch of a new Hanoi–Prague service, offering all-inclusive Eco fares from as low as US$405, approximately S$518. The new route marks a key expansion into Europe for the airline and further enhances connectivity between Vietnam and the European Union, while also opening access to Vietjet’s wider network of 186 routes across more than 20 countries and territories.

The Hanoi–Prague service is scheduled to begin on 10 October 2026 and will be operated using Airbus A330 aircraft with a stopover in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Flights will run twice weekly on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Outbound flights will depart from Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi at 08:25 and arrive at Václav Havel Airport Prague at 18:55. The return leg will depart Prague at 20:55 and arrive in Hanoi at 16:20 the following day. All timings are stated in local time.

Tickets for the new route are already available through Vietjet, the Vietjet Air mobile app, as well as authorised travel agents and official ticketing offices worldwide.

Prague, often referred to as the “Golden City” or the “City of a Hundred Spires”, is known for its well-preserved Gothic and Baroque architecture that attracts millions of visitors each year. On the other end of the route, Hanoi serves as a cultural gateway to Vietnam, blending historical heritage with a rapidly evolving urban landscape. From Hanoi, travellers can connect onward to popular destinations across Vietnam, including coastal regions, natural attractions and UNESCO recognised sites.

The stopover point in Almaty, Kazakhstan, adds another dimension to the journey. Located at the foothills of the Trans-Ili Alatau mountains, the city is known for its scenic landscapes and serves as a strategic connection point between Asia and Europe.

Passengers on the new route will fly on Vietjet’s modern fleet and be served by a professional cabin crew. Onboard dining includes freshly prepared hot meals inspired by Vietnamese cuisine such as pho and banh mi, alongside a selection of international dishes, offering travellers a taste of Vietnam even at cruising altitude.
