Organised under the national theme “Let’s Be Greater Together”, the heartland events mark the first major public lead up to the main Kindness Day SG 2026 programme, which will be held on Friday, 29 May 2026 at Singapore Land Tower. The final event will include the Kindred Spirit Circle Induction Ceremony and Appreciation Dinner, and will be attended by Mr David Neo, Acting Minister for Culture, Community and Youth, and Senior Minister of State for Education.

From 10am to 6pm on 23 May, residents across the three estates can take part in a range of community focused activities designed to promote everyday kindness, graciousness, and stronger social bonds. The activations will include storytelling sessions, interactive installations, communal art projects, live performances, and neighbourhood engagement activities aimed at encouraging residents to practise kindness in simple, meaningful ways.

The Singapore Kindness Movement said the simultaneous heartland approach reflects its ongoing effort to bring conversations about kindness directly into everyday community spaces. By engaging residents of all ages, the initiative seeks to reinforce the idea that building a more gracious society begins at home and through daily interactions with others.

The activations are also designed to create opportunities for storytelling and community engagement, with potential for human interest features, family participation moments, and neighbourhood volunteer stories. Visitors can expect appearances by familiar kindness mascots including Singa and the Kindness Cubbies, alongside interactive installations and ground up community activities developed in partnership with local groups.
