OCBC Bank has launched a new collection of themed “light up” cards featuring beloved characters from Star Wars and Winnie-the-Pooh, bringing a playful touch to everyday banking transactions in Singapore.

The new designs are available for both the OCBC 365 Credit Card and OCBC Debit Card, with built in LED lights that activate when tapped at payment terminals. Fans of Star Wars can choose between designs featuring Darth Vader and Yoda, where the characters’ lightsabers illuminate during payment. Meanwhile, the Winnie the Pooh and Piglet themed cards feature a glowing twinkling North Star effect.
The launch is part of OCBC’s five-year strategic collaboration with Disney and expands the bank’s growing lineup of Disney and Marvel themed banking products. Since introducing the OCBC MyOwn Account in 2024 for children and teens aged seven to 15, OCBC customers in Singapore have been among the first in Southeast Asia to receive specially designed Disney and Marvel debit cards.
According to OCBC, this is the first time a bank in Singapore has introduced Star Wars and Winnie the Pooh themed credit cards featuring a light up design, further reinforcing its efforts to bring more engaging and personalised experiences to customers.
The limited-edition cards will be available until 30 June 2026, with each design capped at 10,000 eligible applicants.
For new OCBC Debit Card holders, customers must apply for an OCBC 360 or OCBC Statement Savings account, select a light up card design and credit a salary of at least S$1,800 within the first two calendar months after opening the account. Existing debit cardholders can qualify by registering interest for a light up card and spending a minimum of S$1,000 on their OCBC Debit Card within 30 days of registration.
For the OCBC 365 Credit Card, new applicants will need to apply for the card, register interest for a light up design and spend at least S$1,000 within 30 days of card approval. Existing cardholders can also qualify by registering interest and meeting the same spending requirement within 30 days.
