PUMA Opens A Fast Lane In Singapore For Runners Who Want To Clock Serious Speed

PUMA has announced the Singapore launch of The Fast Lane, a week long activation spotlighting the Deviate NITROTM 4, the latest update in its running lineup designed for everyday runners aiming to improve speed. The activation runs from 1 to 7 May at Customs House, with activities centred at Chimi’s Especial.

The Fast Lane invites Singapore’s running community to engage with the brand through a series of curated experiences, including community runs in collaboration with local run clubs. These sessions will feature trial opportunities for the Deviate NITROTM 4, reflecting the growing role of run clubs in Singapore as social spaces that bring runners together beyond training.

Members of the public can also take part through the “Deviate” route, a specially curated course across the city that leads to the activation space. The route is open from 1 to 14 May and accessible at any time, offering flexibility for participants to run at their own pace.

Alongside the route, runners can join the “Too Fast” Challenge, where the top three fastest finishers in both men’s and women’s categories stand a chance to win a pair of Deviate NITROTM 4 shoes. All participants who complete the route will receive 300 PUMA AdvoCAT points, equivalent to around 10 dollars in vouchers.

The Fast Lane activation operates from 3pm to 9pm between 1 and 3 May, and from 11am to 9pm between 4 and 7 May. Admission is free.

The Deviate NITROTM 4 introduces an updated NITROFOAMTM midsole with a dual layer nitrogen infused construction aimed at delivering improved energy return while maintaining comfort. The shoe also features a redesigned PWRPLATE for enhanced flexibility, along with a PUMAGRIP outsole that provides traction across varying surfaces and accommodates different footstrike patterns.

Additional design elements include a breathable mesh upper, as well as a padded collar and tongue for added comfort and support. The shoe is positioned as a versatile option suitable for both daily runs and faster paced training sessions.

PUMA Singapore running athlete Ben Khoo described the shoe as a reliable option for local conditions, noting its performance across wet roads, long distances and faster runs. He highlighted its balance between comfort and responsiveness, calling it one of the most versatile daily trainers he has used.

The Deviate NITROTM 4 is priced at S$239 and comes in multiple colourways including Apple Spritz with Lux Lime and Baltic Sea Blue with Fresh Water.
