Pet lovers are in for a treat as Pasir Ris Mall transforms its Level 2 Central Greenway into a vibrant pet wonderland this weekend for its “Picnic Pawty” event. The two-day celebration promises a lively mix of activities for both pets and their owners, including contests, games, performances, and interactive learning sessions designed to strengthen the bond between pawrents and their furry companions.
The festivities begin on Saturday, 25 April, from 2pm onwards with a packed lineup of pet-centric activities. Kicking off the event is the Best Dressed Contest, where pets will showcase their most creative picnic-themed outfits, turning the venue into a runway of adorable fashion and personality.
At 3pm, pet owners can take part in the Pet Knowledge Quiz, followed by an engaging Obedience Demonstration by Waggie at 4pm, offering useful insights into pet training and behaviour.
As evening approaches, the atmosphere will shift into celebration mode with a lively Pawdisco at 5pm, accompanied by live music performances from local band The Parachutes, bringing upbeat energy to wrap up the first day.
The fun continues on Sunday, 26 April, from 1pm to 6pm, with a fresh lineup of engaging programmes. The day opens with a special showcase by community group Birdies and Family, followed by the irresistibly charming Cutest Small Animal Moments Contest at 3pm.
At 4pm, visitors can join the Pet Myths Quiz, which combines entertainment with educational insights into common misconceptions about pets. The day concludes with a Speed Play session by Barker & Pooch at 5pm, focusing on canine fitness and active pet care techniques.
Pet owners are encouraged to register their furry companions in advance for a chance to win attractive prizes and exclusive vouchers.
Members of Great Rewards can enjoy additional perks throughout the event. With a minimum spend of $20 at participating F&B outlets in the mall, members will earn double reward points and gain access to exclusive treats.
