JBL Marks 80 Years with ‘Live Your Sound’ Pop-Up Experience at Funan

Audio brand JBL is celebrating its 80th anniversary with an immersive retail showcase, bringing its “Live Your Sound” pop-up experience to Funan from 15 to 19 April 2026.

Taking over the mall’s Level 1 Atrium, including its iconic steps, the multi-day event transforms the space into a vibrant audio playground where visitors can explore sound as a form of self-expression. Staying true to JBL’s #MadeToBeHeard ethos, the pop-up invites guests to discover and interact with a wide range of audio products across different lifestyles.

A First-of-Its-Kind Showcase

The event marks JBL’s largest and first-ever cross-category public showcase, featuring five curated zones that blend interactive experiences with tailored product pairings. From gaming and music creation to productivity and outdoor adventures, each zone is designed to reflect different ways people engage with sound in their daily lives.

Visitors will also be among the first in Singapore to try the newly upgraded JBL Live Series headphones, including the JBL Live 680NC and 780NC. These debut alongside the JBL Open-Ear Series, which allows users to enjoy music while staying aware of their surroundings.

Other featured product lines include the JBL Quantum Series for gamers, the BandBox Series for musicians, the PartyBox Series for social gatherings, and a wide selection of portable speakers built for on-the-go listening.

Five Zones, Five Experiences

The pop-up is structured around five themed zones, each offering a unique, hands-on experience:

Beats Unleashed showcases the JBL BandBox Series in a studio-style setup, allowing visitors to switch between solo practice and group jam sessions using AI-powered amplifiers.

Sound Is Survival immerses gamers in a first-person shooter environment, where JBL Quantum headsets enhance gameplay and live leaderboards track performance, with daily prizes up for grabs.

Hustle Loud recreates a co-working café setting, where guests can test the JBL Live Series headphones in real-world productivity scenarios, including calls and noise-cancelling features.

Adventure Unmuted features an outdoor-inspired setup highlighting the PartyBox Series and portable speakers, ideal for everything from camping trips to city rides.

Style Amplified offers a styling bar experience with the JBL Open-Ear Series, combining fashion and function through personalised fittings and colour analysis.

Rewards, Customisation and Live Music

To enhance the experience, visitors can participate in an activity challenge by collecting stamps across the zones to redeem exclusive JBL merchandise and vouchers. Shoppers who purchase selected JBL products during the event can also enjoy limited-edition gifts, including accessories and collaborative items.

A highlight of the event is the D.I.Y Echo Charms Bar, where guests can customise speaker straps and accessories with unique charms, adding a personal touch to their audio gear.

On 18 and 19 April, the pop-up will also host live performances by local indie musicians, with 30-minute sets bringing added energy to the space and showcasing JBL’s sound capabilities in action.

A Celebration of Sound and Lifestyle

Blending music, gaming, productivity, style, and outdoor living, the “Live Your Sound” pop-up offers a dynamic and interactive way for consumers to engage with JBL’s latest innovations.
