vivo V70 Launches in Singapore with Sleek Design, ZEISS Imaging Upgrades, and Smarter OriginOS 6

vivo has officially unveiled its latest smartphone, the vivo V70, bringing together a refined design, enhanced imaging capabilities co-engineered with ZEISS, and a smarter, more intuitive software experience powered by OriginOS 6.

Designed with both content creators and everyday users in mind, the V70 introduces a powerful 50MP ZEISS Super Telephoto Camera, advanced AI photography tools, and upgraded video capabilities, making it an ideal companion for travel, stage photography, and daily moments.

Pro-Level Imaging with ZEISS Partnership

At the heart of the V70 is a significantly upgraded camera system developed in collaboration with ZEISS. Leading the setup is a 50MP ZEISS Super Telephoto Camera, featuring a large ultra-sensing sensor and optical image stabilization (OIS) for improved low-light performance. Its periscope design allows for higher zoom levels without adding bulk.

The rear camera array also includes a 50MP ZEISS OIS Main Camera with a flagship-grade sensor and an 8MP ZEISS Ultra Wide-Angle Camera for versatile shooting scenarios. On the front, users get a 50MP ZEISS Group Selfie Camera with autofocus, delivering sharp results for both individual and group shots.

A standout addition is the new AI Stage Mode, optimized for capturing performances. Combined with AI image enhancement and portrait technologies, the system enables crisp 10x zoom shots while preserving detail and emotion. Users can also experiment with ZEISS Multifocal Portrait options, including 85mm and 100mm focal lengths with signature bokeh styles.

For videography, the V70 debuts 4K 60fps recording in the V series, offering smoother, cinematic footage. It also introduces AI Audio Noise Eraser, allowing users to selectively remove unwanted background sounds during post-editing.

AI-Powered Creativity and Editing Tools

The V70 enhances mobile photography with a suite of AI-driven editing features. Tools like AI Magic Weather can transform skies or remove unwanted elements, while AI Magic Landscape lets users reimagine scenes with different geographic themes.

Additional features such as AI Erase, AI Magic Move, AI Image Expander, and AI Color Adjustment simplify post-processing, enabling users to create polished images directly on the device.

Premium Design Meets Durability

Sporting a sleek new look, the V70 features an Aerospace-Grade Aluminum Alloy Frame, ultra-thin bezels, and a flat display for a modern aesthetic. The rear design is clean and understated, highlighted by a refined metallic camera module.

The device boasts a 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and high pixel density for sharp, fluid visuals. It also integrates a 3D Ultrasonic Fingerprint Scanner 2.0 for faster and more reliable unlocking, even with wet fingers.

Available in Golden Hour, with a unique etched glass finish, and Alpine Gray, the V70 combines style with resilience. It is rated IP68 and IP69 for dust and water resistance and features enhanced drop protection of up to 1.5 meters.

Smarter OriginOS 6 with Enhanced AI and Privacy

Running on the latest OriginOS 6, the V70 delivers smoother performance and deeper AI integration. Features like Origin Island provide real-time contextual information, while tools such as AI Search, AI Creation, and AI Captions boost productivity across tasks.

The system also supports seamless cross-device connectivity, including file sharing between vivo devices and supported iPhones. The new vivo Office Kit further enhances workflow by enabling easy data transfer between smartphones and computers.

Security remains a key focus, with features like Private Space for sensitive data storage, along with long-term support including four OS upgrades and six years of security updates.

Performance and Battery Life

Under the hood, the V70 is equipped with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, ensuring fast performance for multitasking, gaming, and media editing. A large vapor chamber cooling system helps maintain consistent performance under heavy use.

Powering the device is a 6500mAh battery, supported by 90W FlashCharge technology for quick top-ups. Connectivity is also improved with enhanced signal stability and optimized performance in congested environments.

Availability and Pricing

The vivo V70 will be available in Singapore starting 28 March 2026, priced at S$799 for the 12GB + 256GB variant.

Pre-orders run from 19 to 27 March 2026 via major e-commerce platforms and authorized retailers. As part of a limited-time promotion, customers can enjoy a S$50 discount, bringing the price down to S$749.

Buyers will also receive complimentary gifts, including the vivo Buds Air 3, along with a two-year local warranty and a three-month screen warranty.
