Lunchtime at Woodlands Hospital will soon come with a musical twist. Beginning this April, the healthcare campus will host Musical Rendezvous @ Woodlands Hospital, a new monthly concert series designed to bring uplifting live performances to patients, healthcare staff and members of the public.
Kicking off on 10 April 2026, the one-hour concerts will take place every second Friday of the month from 12.30pm to 1.30pm at the hospital’s B1 Event Plaza (Tower D, Basement 1). Admission is free and open to all.
Produced by Sing’theatre as part of its Community Outreach Programme, in collaboration with Woodlands Hospital, the initiative reflects a shared belief in the healing and unifying power of the arts. By transforming a hospital lunch hour into a welcoming space for music and connection, the series aims to create meaningful moments of pause within a healthcare setting.
Audiences can look forward to a lively and accessible repertoire of familiar tunes and upbeat musical numbers, thoughtfully curated to appeal to people of all ages. Set against the backdrop of an everyday healthcare environment, the concerts highlight how music, care and community can come together in simple yet impactful ways.
The programme forms part of Sing’theatre’s broader outreach efforts, which bring 365 hours of music annually into public spaces across Singapore, including hospitals and healthcare institutions. Through these initiatives, the company continues its mission to make music and theatre accessible to everyone, particularly those who may have limited opportunities to experience live performances.
