Xiaomi has officially unveiled its next-generation Xiaomi 17 Series in Singapore, headlined by the all-new Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Ultra, and the highly anticipated Leica Leitzphone powered by Xiaomi. The launch signals a major leap forward in flagship mobile imaging, while expanding Xiaomi’s broader ecosystem of connected devices and smart innovations.
Alongside the smartphones, Xiaomi introduced the Xiaomi Pad 8 Series, Xiaomi TV S Mini LED 2026, Xiaomi Vacuum Cleaner G30 Max, Xiaomi Watch 5, Xiaomi UltraThin Magnetic Power Bank 5000 15W, Xiaomi Tag, and REDMI Buds 8 Pro, reinforcing its growing “Human x Car x Home” connected ecosystem. The company also surprised audiences with the debut of Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo, a bold electric hypercar concept created for the legendary Gran Turismo 7.

A key highlight of the launch is the evolution of Xiaomi’s collaboration with Leica Camera AG. The partnership has now progressed from joint R&D into a Strategic Co-creation Model, marking a deeper, end-to-end collaboration in imaging development.
Built under this upgraded framework, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra and Leica Leitzphone powered by Xiaomi aim to set a new benchmark in smartphone photography. Backed by over a century of Leica expertise, the Xiaomi 17 Series delivers professional-grade photo and video performance wrapped in refined, durable designs.

The Xiaomi 17 Series embraces minimalist elegance, featuring clean lines, ultra-thin bezels, and ergonomically refined Golden Arc curves for a comfortable in-hand feel.
The Xiaomi 17 Ultra, the thinnest and lightest Ultra device yet, measures just 8.29mm and weighs approximately 218g. Available in White, Black, and Starlit Green, it combines premium aesthetics with Xiaomi Guardian Structure, including Xiaomi Shield Glass 3.0 (offering 30% better drop resistance than its predecessor), a high-strength fiberglass back, aluminum alloy frame, and IP68 water and dust resistance.
Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 17 delivers flagship power in a more compact 8.06mm, 191g body. Offered in Venture Green, Alpine Pink, Ice Blue, and Black, it features ultra-slim 1.18mm bezels and a redesigned camera module. The Xiaomi 17 Ultra introduces Xiaomi’s first 1-inch LOFIC main sensor, the Light Fusion 1050L, delivering next-generation HDR performance and enhanced full-well capacity. Its Leica 200MP 75–100mm telephoto camera offers mechanical optical zoom and extends up to 400mm equivalent focal length for long-range clarity, built to Leica APO optical standards.
Video capabilities are equally impressive, supporting Dolby Vision and ACES Log recording at up to 4K 120fps on both main and telephoto cameras, catering to creators who demand cinematic flexibility.
The Xiaomi 17, while more compact, features the Light Fusion 950 sensor with a 1/1.31” size and 13.5EV dynamic range. The Xiaomi 17 Ultra houses a 6000mAh battery with 90W wired and 50W wireless HyperCharge. The Xiaomi 17 pushes even further with a 6330mAh battery and 100W wired HyperCharge support.
Brighter, Smarter Displays
Both devices feature custom OLED panels with peak brightness of up to 3,500 nits and adaptive 1–120Hz LTPO refresh rates for smooth visuals and power efficiency. The Xiaomi 17 Ultra also debuts Xiaomi HyperRGB technology for enhanced clarity and optimized energy usage.
Leica Leitzphone Powered by Xiaomi
Celebrating Leica’s 100-year anniversary, the Leica Leitzphone powered by Xiaomi merges iconic Leica design philosophy with Xiaomi’s advanced mobile technology. The device features a nickel-anodized aluminum alloy body and a distinctive Leica Camera Ring, a physical dial that mimics the tactile feel of a traditional camera zoom ring.
It also introduces Leica Essential Mode, recreating the photographic styles of classic Leica cameras such as the M9 and M3 with MONOPAN 50 film simulation, blending heritage aesthetics with modern computational imaging.
Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo: A Digital Hypercar
Expanding beyond smartphones, Xiaomi revealed Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo, its first hypercar concept created for the Vision Gran Turismo project in collaboration with Polyphony Digital and Sony Interactive Entertainment.
The electric hypercar features a teardrop-shaped cabin, advanced aerodynamic channels, a drag coefficient of 0.29, and an innovative “Sofa Racer” cockpit concept designed to envelop the driver in a cocoon-like environment. Integrated into Xiaomi’s smart ecosystem, the vehicle adapts to driver mood and behavior, transforming mobility into an intuitive digital experience.
The concept will be showcased at Mobile World Congress 2026.
