The policy was issued and underwritten by Manulife Singapore, underscoring the insurer’s ability to structure complex and sizeable legacy planning arrangements. The transaction highlights the increasing sophistication of HNW clients, who are seeking insurers with financial strength, cross-border expertise and the capability to support multi-generational wealth strategies.

Singapore’s Growing Role in HNW Wealth Management

Singapore’s political stability, strong regulatory framework and position as a regional financial hub continue to attract high-net-worth individuals and families. As wealth in Asia grows, insurers are seeing rising demand for customised protection, wealth accumulation and succession planning solutions.

Over the past 12 months, Manulife Singapore has issued 25 individual life policies valued at more than US$50 million each, reflecting sustained momentum in the HNW segment and a growing appetite for comprehensive legacy planning tools.
