Goodwood Park Hotel Unveils Refreshed Mayfair Wing and Curated Stay Experiences

An enduring architectural landmark along Scotts Road, Goodwood Park Hotel has unveiled a refreshed Mayfair Wing alongside a series of thoughtfully curated stay experiences, reaffirming its commitment to blending heritage charm with modern sophistication.

Nestled just steps from Orchard Road, the hotel continues to balance its storied legacy with contemporary elegance, offering guests a tranquil, resort-style retreat in the heart of the city.

A Refined Refresh of the Mayfair Wing

The revitalisation of the Mayfair Wing was led by acclaimed architect Ernesto Bedmar, who also helmed the hotel’s previous renovation projects. The updated interiors embrace a timeless yet contemporary aesthetic, combining sleek lines with warm, organic elements.

A soothing palette of light and earthy tones anchors the design, complemented by natural wood finishes, leather accents, vinyl plank flooring, and sustainable sisal rugs crafted from Agave Sisalana fibre. Black-and-white photographs of nostalgic Singapore scenes by French artist Gilles Massot add character and pay homage to the hotel’s rich heritage.

Revitalised Room Categories

Each refreshed room in the Mayfair Wing features a private balcony overlooking either the Balinese-inspired Mayfair Pool or lush greenery. Guests can opt for natural ventilation via ceiling fans and open balcony doors, alongside air-conditioning for added comfort. All rooms come with en-suite bathrooms fitted with bathtubs.

Modern touches include leather swivel chairs, LCD flat-screen televisions, and international power sockets.

  • Deluxe Mayfair Rooms: Available in twin or king configurations, these rooms offer pool or garden views and can accommodate an extra bed, making them ideal for families.
  • Deluxe Poolside Rooms: Located on the ground floor, these intimate rooms provide direct access to the Mayfair Pool, catering to couples seeking a relaxed and private getaway.

In July 2025, Goodwood Park Hotel was awarded the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) certification, widely regarded as a leading global benchmark for sustainability in travel and tourism. The recognition reflects the hotel’s commitment to responsible practices, including energy-efficient lighting, water conservation measures, optimised air-conditioning systems, and initiatives to reduce single-use plastics.

Curated Stay Packages for Every Occasion

To complement the refreshed accommodations, the hotel has introduced specially curated packages tailored to different travel needs.

‘A Timeless Retreat at Goodwood’

Designed for couples, this package includes a stay in a Deluxe Premier Room, complimentary English Afternoon Tea, daily breakfast, late check-out at 3pm, and spa privileges. Valid for stays from 1 February to 30 November 2026, rates start from $348++ per night.

A Timeless Wedding Destination

With its refined architecture and old-world charm, Goodwood Park Hotel remains a sought-after wedding venue in Singapore. Beyond its grand ballrooms, the hotel offers elegant settings for pre-wedding shoots and intimate stays.

The Rose Marie Suite, housed within the historic Grand Tower, exudes European aristocratic charm. Featuring a formal dining room, elegant lounge, and private balcony overlooking Orchard Road and Scotts Road, the suite has hosted royalty, international celebrities, and heads of state, making it an exceptional choice for couples seeking a classic Victorian-inspired celebration.

For wedding dining, couples can also turn to the hotel-owned restaurants Min Jiang and Min Jiang Dempsey. The latter is recognised in the MICHELIN Guide Singapore 2025 edition.

Min Jiang offers six private dining rooms that can be combined for larger celebrations, as well as the Min Pavilion, a shaded timber-decked terrace overlooking the hotel’s Main Pool. Meanwhile, Min Jiang Dempsey occupies a charming 6,000-square-foot colonial black-and-white bungalow, complete with a timber-decked alfresco area ideal for cocktail receptions amid lush greenery.
