Our Tampines Hub (OTH) is bringing essential eye health services directly to residents through a Community Eye Screening on Saturday, 7 February 2026, from 9:30am to 4:30pm at Level 4 – The Action Space. The initiative is a collaboration with students from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and The Straits Eye Centre, as part of NTU’s final-year project See For Yourself from the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication.

Accessible Eye Care for the Community
Targeted at Singaporeans aged 40 to 60, the complimentary screening aims to encourage early detection and preventive eye care by bringing professional services into a convenient neighbourhood setting. Participants can expect:
- A 5 to 10-minute eye screening conducted by medical professionals.
- On-site consultations with doctors for personalised advice.
- Guidance on maintaining healthy vision habits.
Beyond screenings, the programme also features interactive elements including a pledge wall for participants to commit to eye care practices, a mini photobooth, and sure-win lucky draw prizes.
Bridging Community, Education, and Health
This initiative reflects OTH’s mission to bring together community, education, and healthcare partners to deliver programmes that improve residents’ well-being. By situating professional services within the community, OTH provides a platform for practical, accessible health interventions that respond to the evolving needs of residents.
The Community Eye Screening is part of a broader series of collaborations that OTH will be supporting in 2026, aiming to enhance health, wellness, and quality of life for the Tampines community.
