Singapore’s electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure has reached a new milestone with the official completion of the country’s largest public EV charging hub at Great World. The fully operational site significantly expands charging accessibility for EV drivers, while supporting Singapore’s broader sustainability goals under the Green Plan 2030.
Located across B3 and B3A of Great World’s Office, East, and West Lobby carparks, the charging hub is seamlessly connected to the mall from Level 1, offering convenience for drivers and shoppers alike. The facility features a total of 55 charging points, making it the largest public EV charging site in Singapore.
The hub offers a comprehensive mix of charging options to cater to different needs:
- 20 ultra-fast 480kW DC chargers from Huawei
- 12 fast 180kW DC chargers
- 23 standard 22kW AC chargers
Notably, Great World is the first location in Singapore to deploy Huawei’s 480kW ultra-fast DC chargers, which can deliver up to 200km of driving range in as little as five minutes for compatible vehicles.
Strengthening Allgreen Malls’ EV Network
The Great World charging hub builds on Allgreen Malls’ growing EV infrastructure network and complements the DC-only EV charging hub at Pasir Ris Mall, which was launched in December 2024. Operated by Great Charge, the Pasir Ris Mall site is currently Singapore’s largest public DC-only charging hub, featuring 20 units of 180kW DC fast chargers.
Together, these developments underscore Allgreen Malls’ commitment to delivering a seamless lifestyle experience for EV drivers, while accelerating the adoption of sustainable mobility solutions across Singapore.
Introductory Charging Rates and Rewards
To mark the launch, EV drivers can enjoy introductory charging rates, among the lowest currently available in the market, at both Great World and Pasir Ris Mall:
- DC chargers: $0.600 per kWh (inclusive of 9% GST)
- AC chargers: $0.545 per kWh (inclusive of 9% GST)
In addition, Great Charge has extended its popular Charge and Earn Carpark$ promotion until 31 March 2026. Drivers who spend a minimum of $20 on charging at either location during the promotion period will receive $1.50 in Carpark$ via the Great Rewards app.
Wheels of Joy: Charge and Win Big
EV drivers and shoppers can also take part in the ongoing Wheels of Joy promotion, running from now until 3 March 2026. Each $20 charge at Great Charge stations at Great World or Pasir Ris Mall, or a minimum spend of $60 at any Allgreen Mall, earns one entry into the lucky draw.
Prizes include:
- Grand Prize: A brand-new Zeekr 7X, a premium five-seater SUV
- Additional Prizes: Three one-week staycations in Great World Residence’s 2-Bedroom Apartment
The more drivers charge or shop, the more chances they have to win.
Exclusive Perks for Taxi and PHV Drivers
Great Charge is also recognising the contributions of taxi and private hire vehicle (PHV) drivers with exclusive treats. From now until stocks last, taxi and PHV drivers who spend at least $20 on EV charging at Great World or Pasir Ris Mall can redeem a complimentary Toast & Small Hot Beverage from Toast Box by presenting their vocational licence and proof of same-day charging at the Customer Service counter.
Members of the National Taxi Association (NTA) or National Private Hire Vehicles Association (NPHVA) are entitled to an additional voucher upon verification via the MyNTUC app. Redemptions are limited and subject to terms and conditions.
