Suntec City is welcoming the Year of the Horse with a festive lineup that leans playful, interactive and unapologetically fun. Running from 15 January to 1 March 2026, the mall’s Lunar New Year celebrations bring together immersive play, exclusive collectibles and shopping rewards that cater to both families and the young at heart.
The centre of it all is the POTsperity Yuan Yang Playground at the Atrium at Tower 1 and 2. Standing at five metres tall, the hotpot-themed inflatable is easily the largest festive installation on site. Designed like a giant yuan yang hotpot, it turns a familiar reunion dinner staple into a full-scale playground where kids can quite literally become part of the dish.
From 29 January to 22 February, between 11am and 9pm daily, children aged four to twelve can dive into the inflatable, choosing between two distinct play zones. One half channels the bold energy of a mala soup with a bouncy, high-energy setup, while the other is a collagen soup-inspired ball pit filled with colourful balls.
The playground is free to play for Suntec+ Members, with on-site sign-ups available. Socks are required for entry, and adult supervision is mandatory at all times.
Adults are not left out of the experience. Two interactive stations sit alongside the playground, adding a layer of festive play for older visitors. Prosperity Pot Master challenges players to add the correct hotpot ingredients in the right sequence against the clock, while the Lucky Roll Station lets participants stamp a custom gold print onto a red packet and take it home as a keepsake.
Just steps away, Suntec City transforms the same atrium into the Mr Merlion & Friends Prosperity Fest, a plush-themed festive bazaar that reimagines Lunar New Year traditions through interactive play. Taking place from Thursday to Sunday between 29 January and 22 February, the space is filled with themed stalls where visitors can take part in nostalgic activities like bak kwa “grilling”, love letter “rolling” and pineapple tart “baking”, all set against charming plush displays.
Entry to the interactive experience is via an $88 bundle, which includes five plushies of choice and a mahjong blind box. The journey continues at the Mahjong Table, where participants flip a tile for a chance to reveal the coveted 發 tile. Those who do walk away with a Giant Mahjong Cushion, while stocks last. The first 1,000 Suntec+ Members who purchase the bundle will also receive a limited-edition Golden Hotpot bag charm.
On weekends, the experience is further brought to life with Mr Merlion & Friends mascots roaming the bazaar at 2pm and 5pm, alongside multiple themed photo spots scattered throughout the space. A retail pop-up offering Mr Merlion & Friends apparel, bag charms, personalised keychains and Lunar New Year-themed merchandise is open daily from 11am to 9pm.
Beyond the atrium, Suntec City is also rewarding shoppers with stackable redemptions from 15 January to 1 March 2026. With a qualifying spend in a single same-day receipt, Suntec+ Members can redeem exclusive Year of the Horse red packets, the Fortune Hotpot Brick Set, e-vouchers and Carpark Dollars, while stocks last.
Festive highlights continue with a Lion and Dragon Dance Performance on 20 February 2026 at the Atrium at Tower 3 and 4, featuring high-pole acrobatics and the traditional plucking of the greens ceremony. The God of Fortune will also make mall-wide appearances on selected dates, adding to the celebratory atmosphere.
From 9 January to 1 March, visitors can explore the 12 Zodiac Reading Panels created in collaboration with Alchemy International Advisory. Each panel includes a QR code that unlocks AR filters, offering a playful digital take on traditional zodiac readings.
