When Chinese New Year (CNY) comes around, there are two things Singaporeans will never compromise on. Good yusheng, and a solid reunion meal that everyone from ah gong to the youngest cousin can agree on.

This year, WHITE Restaurant is making it easier for families to tick both boxes. For CNY 2026, the homegrown restaurant has teamed up with Bee Cheng Hiang, the festive bakkwa brand many of us grew up seeing in long queues during the holidays.

Running until 3 March 2026, this limited-time collaboration brings the best of both brands together under one roof. The menu is inspired by the theme 亲情相扣, celebrating family ties, togetherness, and the simple joy of sharing a good meal.

At the centre of the collaboration is the Golden Horse Abundance Bakkwa Yusheng, offered in both Abalone and Gui Fei versions. Crisp shredded vegetables are topped with Bee Cheng Hiang’s freshly grilled bakkwa and crispy pulled pork twist, giving a sweet and savoury crunch with every toss. There’s even a single-portion yusheng for smaller groups or lighter starters.

Beyond yusheng, the menu includes several hearty mains. The Fortune Mongolian Pork Ribs with Pork Floss comes with tender pork ribs coated in a savoury Mongolian glaze, finished with a generous sprinkle of pork floss.

Another highlight is the Pork Floss Salted Egg Crispy Shimeji, where bite-sized mushrooms are fried till crisp, coated in rich salted egg yolk, and finished with pork floss for an addictive, umami-packed bite.

The Golden Crabmeat Fish Maw Thick Soup features fish maw simmered in a thick, savoury broth with crabmeat, offering a rich and hearty start to the meal.

The Deep Fried Grouper, served whole, is crisp on the outside and tender inside, showcasing the natural sweetness of the fish.

Next, the Sea Cucumber Braised Duck features tender duck braised in a rich, savoury sauce, with flavours of soy, Chinese herbs, and a hint of sweetness.

For a lighter touch, the Fatt Choy Lettuce with Abalone and Mushroom brings together lettuce, fatt choy, abalone, and mushrooms for a simple yet symbolic dish.

Adding a refreshing twist to the meal is WHITE Restaurant’s Fresh Tangerine Jasmine Tea. Bright tangerine slices are paired with fragrant jasmine tea, creating a light and zesty drink that balances the richer flavours of the festive spread.

No CNY meal is complete without desserts. The Golden Blossom Beancurd is silky smooth and lightly flavoured with honeyed osmanthus, while the Fragrant Taro Lava Coconut Balls feature a crisp golden shell with a soft taro paste centre, enriched with toasted coconut.

To make festive planning easier, WHITE Restaurant offers Chinese New Year set menus for 4, 6, or 8 pax, available for both dine-in and takeaway. For those celebrating at home, takeaway bundles start from $80 and include the signature Bakkwa Yusheng paired with festive meat dishes.

From now till 3 March 2026, diners will also receive complimentary dining vouchers worth up to $125 with every Chinese New Year set menu or takeaway bundle purchased. In addition, WHITE members, Bee Cheng Hiang members, and Citibank cardholders can enjoy 18% off yusheng and selected collaboration dishes throughout the festive period.
