Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) is welcoming the Year of the Horse with a vibrant new collaboration with global art toy phenomenon POP MART, marking the brand’s first-ever resort-wide activation. Specially curated for Chinese New Year, the POP MART The Golden Gallop Series brings together 12 of POP MART’s most beloved characters, reimagined through a festive zodiac-inspired lens and brought to life across the resort through immersive installations.
From WEAVE to the Singapore Oceanarium, larger-than-life POP MART characters pop up across RWS, transforming everyday pathways into moments of surprise and delight. Thoughtfully woven into the resort’s diverse spaces, the 12 colourful installations invite guests on a playful, discovery-led journey that reflects the celebratory spirit, optimism and forward momentum of the Year of the Horse.
This Chinese New Year activation, complemented by an exclusive POP-Up Store, also marks the first of several concepts POP MART will roll out at RWS in 2026 as part of a broader, ongoing collaboration.
At the heart of The Golden Gallop Series is a curated selection of POP MART’s most recognisable characters, each thoughtfully redesigned with festive symbolism and whimsical details. Fans can spot familiar favourites such as LABUBU, Baby Molly, SKULLPANDA, DIMOO, Hirono and Twinkle Twinkle, alongside other well-loved characters including PUCKY, HACIPUPU, CHAKA, Zsiga, Nyota and Tinytiny.
Each character brings a unique interpretation of the Year of the Horse. LABUBU stands out with bold, dynamic elements that capture a sense of motion and vitality, while HACIPUPU takes on a softer, celebratory form that conveys warmth and joy. Twinkle Twinkle draws inspiration from classic blue-and-white porcelain, and PUCKY infuses the series with imagination through light-hearted, whimsical design touches.
Designed exclusively for this collaboration, the installations offer fans a new way to engage with POP MART’s collectible art toys, transforming them from shelf-sized collectibles into immersive, photo-worthy experiences.
Adding an interactive layer to the festivities, guests can take part in a POP MART passport journey inspired by the brand’s collectible culture. Visitors are invited to collect stamps at 12 POP MART passport stations across five themed zones within the resort. Those who complete the journey stand a chance to redeem an exclusive sticker sheet featuring all 12 Golden Gallop characters, specially created to commemorate Chinese New Year at RWS.
The gamified experience encourages exploration, shared moments and playful interaction with the installations, making the celebrations even more engaging for fans and families alike. For collectors, an exclusive box set featuring all 12 characters will also be available at the POP-Up Store located at WEAVE.
