Tampines Gears Up for a Mega New Year Celebration at Our Tampines Hub

Our Tampines Hub (OTH) is set to welcome 2026 with a vibrant line-up of heartland festivities, bringing residents together through culture, creativity, sports, music, food and family fun. Happening from 31 December 2025 to 1 January 2026, the two-day community celebration promises something for everyone, right in the heart of Tampines.

At the centre of the excitement is Tampines Together: The Countdown Concert, a festive showcase shaped by Tampines residents and local talents. Happening on 31 December from 11pm to 12:30am at the Town Square, the concert features a multicultural mix of performances across genres and languages, including a percussion act by Oneida Batuké, whose members hail from the Tampines community. The night will culminate in a thrilling countdown and a dazzling fireworks display, bringing families, friends, and neighbours together to usher in the New Year as one.

The concert is free and ticketed, with live screening at Festive Plaza on Level 1 for residents who wish to join the celebration together.

Eco Experiences

Start the year with sustainability-inspired activities at the Eco Community Garden (31 Dec & 1 Jan, 8am–10am), where residents can harvest fresh community-grown produce. Meanwhile, eco-workshops (Level 4) will run throughout both days, teaching creative upcycling techniques using old clothes, plastic bottles, and glass containers, along with urban gardening sessions on bonsai and terrarium creation.

Heritage Culinary Workshops

At the Wellness Centre, residents can learn to prepare nostalgic local treats. A Nine-Layered Kueh workshop takes place on 31 December, followed by an Ang Ku Kueh class on 1 January (10am–12pm & 2pm–4pm), preserving cultural culinary traditions for the next generation.

Kids’ Adventure & Entertainment

Children can enjoy a Pororo-themed play experience and craft sessions at OTH Kids Club x Pororo Singapore Park from noon to 8pm, with an extended bouncy castle playtime until midnight on New Year’s Eve. Meanwhile, Festive Plaza will host family movie screenings such as Minecraft and Karate Kid Legends from 2pm–4pm daily.

Young audiences and families can also look forward to the Let’s Play2Gather gaming arena at Central Plaza, the JKids Carnival featuring rides and bungee jumps, with 3,000 complimentary rides for Tampines residents, and an interactive resolution wall where visitors can pen their hopes for the new year.

Fitness & Wellbeing

OTH will close out the year with dynamic fitness activities at the Community Auditorium. From 12pm–8pm on 31 December, Festive Fitness will offer step-aerobics, HIIT, Zumba, Afro, Cardio Dance, and more. On New Year’s Day, Fitness Bonanza 2026 continues the energy with additional workout sessions from 12pm–6pm.

Live Music Acts

From noon onwards on both days, Festive Plaza will come alive with local music performances, spotlighting homegrown talent and energising the heart of Tampines with live entertainment.
